About this deal

I thought the novel was harsh and brutal, but in a very good way. There were no rose coloured glasses when showing the true nature of some soldiers or how they treat their wives. It felt very real, and the characters of the woman simply brought the book to life. The creators of the series, Gema R. Neira and Teresa Fernández Valdés, allow themselves to dream and decide to ignore reality so that we plunge into a visually appealing mystery series thanks to the imaginative wardrobe and hairdressing department and topped off by Vanessa Garde’s musical mixes, which help create the right setting. A Private Affair is split between being told by all the women over different time periods of their lives. It shows how they came to be and the road they took to get there. Her brother Arturo (Pablo Molinero) is now the new Commissioner, and Marina is seen as nothing more than a flighty woman who needs to be married off. That is until she accidentally stumbles across a murder. Why is the fact Tom cheated never elaborated on again? It definitely felt out of place that Meaghan wouldn’t have brought it up. It was just another sub-plot that didn’t really add anything to the story.

In the end, I learned an effective new method of carrying excessive luggage and I also solved the Mysterious Case of The Missing Station. Like the dog that did not bark in the night, Marleybone turned out not to be missing at all. But given the era that it is set in, women are not allowed to join the police, leaving Marina to her own devices as she hones her detective skills. The show is fascinating and also thrilling, to some extent, thanks to the layered plot. Furthermore, it gives you enough reasons to cherish the surroundings of the 1940s. Storyline a private matter takes us to the city of Vigo at the end of the 40s to meet Marina Quiroga, a woman of high class and detective skills thanks to the teachings of her father, a deceased police officer who has always been the mirror in which look at each other Though Marina is the one with the natural gift for police work, it is her brother Arturo, played by Gorka Otxoa, who is stepping into their late father’s sizable shoes and who is being appointed as the new chief of police. When the time comes to rattle through thanking family members in his acceptance speech, all are present and correct – except Marina. She’s off to the harbour to collect her contraband delivery of smuggled detective magazines and periodicals. As ever, Hector covers up for her. But once she is there, she discovers a murdered woman and she also disturbs the killer – the two fight, and he gets away, but, not before Marina can swipe a patch of his coat. The game is afoot. It doesn't take her long to figure out that it is a serial killer at work and all the clues lead to the ‘blue house' and an underground elite prostitution ring. Once you get passed that, as it is very annoying, there is actually a decent mystery to be solved. That is, despite the clues often coming incredibly easy to Marina while everybody stumbles around to catch up.

The novel shows a unique insight into what it is to be an Army Wife, to have a husband absent for long stretches of time and the desperate acts of lonely people. A sense of trepidation crept over me while I was reading, that far off sense of fear that cannot be places. Garcia dazzles as Castaño in A Private Affair. His character is late to the party but not without surprises. The actor never seems in a hurry and offers enough moments to devour his representation. I felt he should have been given more screen time to further lure the audience. What Doesn’t Work for A Private Affair? Now, for some bad: (1) the show is full of anachronisms (as others have mentioned), normally not a big problem but in this case you start to notice them and they become a bit intrusive; (2) the main character actively and annoyingly avoids opportunities to reveal the bad guy on many occasions; (3) several times she switches from "this person must be the murderer" to "I'm going off alone with this person to find a clue" in a matter of seconds; (4) she has superhuman powers of recovery from serious injuries; (5) the ultimate motivation for the murders is not at all convincing. When the bodies of several women begin to appear marked and creating a clear pattern, Marina decides to hunt down what is unmistakably a ruthless and lethal serial killer, but with a narcissistic edge that has managed to slip under the radar of the police, less aware than she of the latest scientific advances.

In my opinion, this show was fabulous and mind-blowing.This series has all the elements we want to see in a top-class series and in a good detective show. If you watch only the first episode of this series, then your interest will increase in this series. Its characters and mystery will start to interest you. The mystery of this series will keep you engaged from a decent start. And what are the investigation processes of Mariana and the actors of this show They are actually watchable? And you will find a fun kind of relationship dynamic between Mariana and Hector.

Le protagoniste, infatti, sono Sam, Dani, Abby e Meaghan: quattro donne molte diverse caratterialmente, fisicamente, origini e vissuto ma allo stesso tempo hanno qualcosa in comune (un uomo e l'esercito). Keep reading my review to know how several other things fare for A Private Affair. A Private Affair Synopsis The series has a very cheerful environment because of the main character, Martina. She has a very chirpy personality that lifts the entire series throughout. She is a woman of opinion and does not want to be pushed over by society just because she is a woman. She wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a police officer. The series shows us how Martina and Hector overcome the obstacles and the prejudices they face as they go on their journey of investigation. Directed by David Pinillos, Maria Ripoll, and Daniel Aranyo, A Private Affair stars Aura Garrido (Marina Quiroga), Jean Reno (Hèctor), Gorka Otxoa (Pablo), Pablo Molinero (Arturo), Álex Garcia (Castaño), Ángela Molina (Doña Asuncion), and Tito Valverde (Ramirez), among others. What Works for A Private Affair? PlotI'd been looking forward to this since it was announced but it turned out to be such a disappointment. It was almost another very good Spanish series (there are so many of them) but, sadly, it misses the mark badly.
