About this deal

One thing to watch for is that when replacing the Super Grap, there may be residue left on the original/replacement grip. While this is not permanent, players should be mindful to budget time and energy to clean off the residue before applying a new overgrip. At the end of the day, it is indisputable that the Yonex Super Grap is still a solid choice for an overgrip. Would I continue using it? In a heartbeat. It has been a steady companion throughout my long badminton journey so far, and I intend to continue on with it until I find a suitable replacement for it. UPDATE] The Yonex Super Grap was my go-to grip after experimenting with different grip products throughout my badminton career, I’ve surprised myself in admitting I have a new favorite! The new supreme grip is the Yonex Clean Grap. Look out for my product review of the Yonex Clean Grap to find out why! That means I can’t test the ‘dry’ overgrips to their full potential or say whether they will suit you if you sweat profusely via your hands. I can only tell if they struggle with limited moisture absorption.

Comments: Great overgrip, I have really sweaty hands and use to have the handle slip in my hands a lot. Problem solved with this product. I like that it comes in lots of colors, but white feels the best and lasts the longest. The first time I wrapped my Yonex rqs 11 it lasted for two weeks of play. Which is 10 days/2 hours a day. My whole family plays tennis now and we all use Yonex overgrips. In Yonex’s 2021 catalog, it is claimed that this particular grip has been sold enough times to wrap the around the world 5 times! I don’t know about you, but that fact alone is mind-blowing to me! Absorbency refers to the grip’s capacity to absorb or soak up liquid, which in the case of badminton players, refers to the sweat from their hands or what may drip down from their arms. Grips with higher absorbency will be able to take in and retain more liquid without becoming a hindrance for the player, while simultaneously helps prevent blisters from forming. Grips with lower absorbency will reach a point of saturation faster which will not allow for further absorption and become quite slippery for the player. Hardness However, many players who say they sweat a lot from their hands sweat more on their forearms but don’t wear sweatbands, which means the sweat runs down onto their hands.Comments: I switched from Babolat VS overgrip to this one. It gives me a better feel of the grip and has a better absorption, which is important in my case as my hands sweat really badly. I haven't tried Tourna Grips yet, but this one works for me very well so far. This is a fairly high score! Read on to find out exactly why this overgrip received these high marks. Comfort Comments: It's the best grip, and I've tried many. Very comfortable and last very long. Highly recommended.

After playing for what felt like a continuous 1.5 hour badminton session – seriously, there were maybe a 1-minute break here and there to towel off or take a sip of water – the Yonex Super Grap held its own. The grip was far from feeling like it was at its limit of absorbing sweat. On the contrary, the grip felt like it was just as fresh as when it was newly applied at the beginning of the session. Feel

UpSell

The overall dimensions of the Yonex Super Grap are pretty standard to the majority of the over Yonex overgrips though in both length and width. Comments: This is the best grip ever! I used to use Wilson grips but switched to Yonex and in my opinion, this is one of the best tennis products I have ever used. Hardness can be broken down into hard or soft. Grips on the softer end provide comfort to the player and decreases the potential of developing blisters. Soft grips are bulkier and will enlarge the badminton grip more than a hard grip – which enables players a better grip to execute powerful shots, such as smashes.

Comments: Super Grap feels okay, but durability is terrible. My current preference is Prince DuraPro. Comments: I'm a loyal customer once I choose a brand, but it takes me a long time to settle on one. I've settled on this one. Even if you don't try another overgrip, you will never be sorry with Super Grap because it does everything you'd want it to do anyway. You can flip it to the other side when you feel it needs to change, if you want to save some money. You'll not feel that the grip is made cheaply. It will not tear on you. If you end up with blisters, it will be due to how the racquet is being used or how often you're playing, not due to the grip. If the racquet slips out of a hand, it will be due to the hold, the position on-court, or the opponent's shot, not the grip. If you feel you need to change it because of moisture, I'd be willing to put money on you being in the top 2% of the world for performance sweating, right up there with Berdych, and no grip will do better for you than this one anyway. If one thing about this grip says it all, it is this: it lasts for such a long time and performs as it should, so well that you will most likely change the grip because it is dirty, not because the grip isn't working anymore. Comments: I would say it's not as absorbent as the Wilson Pro or Tourna grip, but it's still a very good grip. I will try more in the future. Comments: This overgrip is probably the best overgrip I've ever used.I highly recommend this to anyone.Only bad thing is, if you have a light colored grip underneath the Yonex supergrap it'll get stained a diff color. I had a white overgrip under a yellow Yonex one and it turned lime green. Was this a bad batch? Who knows, but I can’t see how this is a viable product if other customers get the same experience as they are useless within 5 minutes. Even Gasquet needs more playing time than that!

While the Yonex Super Grap is comfortable, there were others that out-perform it in this category, such as the Yonex Hi Soft Grap. Curious why? Read all about it in my review. A sense of familiarity does not necessarily equate to a perfect score, and I have faith that there are even better grips out there! Durability The Luxilon Elite Dry is billed as ideal for humid or for players who want an enhanced grip, and their marketing gives you the impression this is a premium product. Having a solid and comfortable grip on your racquet is vital, whether you’re a seasoned tennis player or a total newbie about to swing your first tennis racquet. Although some players like to utilize the default base grip with their tennis racquets, many of us prefer to use a tennis overgrip. Of course, all tennis overgrips are not created equal, so we’ve developed a list of the top tennis overgrips available. Comments: Undoubtedly the best grip on here. I've tried all the grips except the Babolat. No other grip comes close. I don't see myself switching from this grip ever! Great job Yonex.

Although these over-grips have their strengths, we recommend the Tourna Grip for its absorbency and performance. If you are a professional tennis player, no overgrip on the market will keep your hands dry. Comments: Perfect for long handled racquets! I have a AeroPro Drive Plus with a 4 1/2 handle. Very few grips make it to the top of the handle. This grip does so, very easily. I like thin grips, and this is tolerable at 0.6mm (I prefer around 0.45). Comments: This overgrip is so awesome! I love how it's comfortable for your hand and can absorb as much sweat as possible. It's very durable and doesn't dry out really fast. I recommend this to those who don't want to get blisters. Comments: This is the best overgrip I have used. I have tried Wilson, Head, etc. but in terms of comfort, perspiration absorption, durability (i.e. looking like new when the others have worn out) this is by far the best. This tennis overgrip has a very nice and comfortable feel when you use them. They absorb all the moisture that produces in your hand while playing; however, it does leave residue on your hands in some cases. They are the best option in humid weather. These over grip are the best option for people who get a lot of sweat.
