This handle has a comfortable rubber grip that will make it easier to carry in wet or humid conditions. And on the larger size cooler ( 55-quart), there is the pretty typical side gripped handles. Since a full 55-quart cooler can be quite heavy, we always recommend finding a friend to help carry this cooler. When testing its comfort, we felt there were many straps that secure the bag tightly to your body, which also allows it to be a perfect hiking bag. If you’re not hitting the trails, it’s also an excellent choice for water activities, thanks to its floating capabilities. To use it as a floating cooler, you’ll simply add air to the insulation through a valve, and then it can roll down a river right beside you. Compared to other similarly sized coolers on the market, these ice numbers are quite good. They will compete with most of the other premium brands such as RTIC, Yeti, Engel, etc. While we have come across a small number of coolers that have slightly longer ice life, the differences may be negligible to many people. As expected, Yeti has a clear edge when it comes to size options, color choices, and features. There is no comparison. Yeti offers dozens of different cooler sizes and a near-infinite range of colors because of their ability to do custom designs. They also have a large range of features and accessories that Arctic Zone just can’t match.

With this level of ice numbers, you will be able to use the coolers at the lake, on a camping trip, while tailgating, and many more applications. With a sturdy base and durable all-around construction, this cooler is easy to drag in and out of the car and through the dirt and sand, and it’s easy to clean. We also loved the bright orange interior which made it easy to see what’s hidden at the bottom.

So while all of the features you expect to be on this tier of ice chest are present, there isn’t much more other than the fish ruler and potentially the wire basket. As for the overall design of the cooler itself, they look presentable but by no means out-of-the-box. If it wasn’t for the “Titan” logo printed on the front and top of the lid, you would easily get these ice chests confused with a plethora of other brands. You still may find a few coolers of these sizes that offer comparable ice life for a bit cheaper, but the differences are negligible.
