About this deal

Glycerine: Widely used as a quality Hydrator (occurs naturally in skin and its chemical structure attracts water). You can find this ingredient in most good skin-replenishing products. Potential irritants: Cetearyl Alcohol is a very commonly used fatty alcohol ingredient in moisturizers, however, may also be an irritant to very sensitive skin types (suggest to patch test or simply avoid it if you’re allergic) Water, Propanediol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Madecassoside, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Potassium Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Disodium Edta etudehouse.com Heavy duty as a moisturizer but still is very emollient and sits well under makeup (give it a few minutes to absorb into the skin first though) The Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream uses 93% naturally derived ingredients and as few ingredients as possible to balance, hydrate, and soothe skin. It has been tested to be non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores), and hypoallergenic.

Delivery timescales are estimated and could be affected if your parcel is very heavy or delayed by Customs entry procedures.

What’s special about this formulation is that it has a lower pH, similar to that of healthy skin, so it helps to strengthen the skin barrier. It’s also awesome to see that it’s free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color, and parabens.

If you have oily skin, I would suggest trying the Tatcha Water Cream that’s water-based and more lightweight ( review here). Is Soon Jung barrier cream good? I haven’t personally seen much of a difference, but that is expected as there aren’t any ingredients that specifically work to brighten or exfoliate the skin. They mostly have very good moisturizing properties and work a bit as anti-aging agents since moisturized skin is happy skin (dryness contributes to the aging process). My point here is that if your skin is doing relatively okay, the Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer won’t do much other than.. well.. moisturize. Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Moisturizer + Anti-aging (Vitamin A) +Anti-fungal + Anti-inflammatory + Wound healing (Boosts collagen production and promotes cell regeneration) Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green tea): Antioxidant (Polyphenol) + Anti-inflammatory (Polyphenol) + Antimicrobial (Catechins)

Madecassoside: Derivative of Centella Asiatica Extract: Wound healing + hypertrophic scar healing properties + promotes collagen production (Acts as an Antioxidant). - ‘‘ Madecassoside can also help in burn wound healing through increasing antioxidant activity and enhancing collagen synthesis.’’ It’s suited for irritated skin, sensitive skin, or ‘weak/fragile skin’, but I find even for normal skin/dry skin this is perfect! I mostly use this as a basic, regular moisturizer, and then for days that my skin is feeling more irritated or slightly sunburnt, I like to use the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream (review here). Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream ingredients The Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream is one of the best go-to moisturizers I’ve ever tried (I have combo skin). It’s got a simple, clean ingredient list and is not irritating or comedogenic. How to use:
