About this deal

The tyre is in good condition, with no significant deterioration and a tread depth of at least 1.6mm

For emergency use only! Slime's Emergency Tyre Sealant is designed as a temporary formula in passenger vehicles and must be removed within 3 days or 100 milesApart from the slightly expensive price tag, the Terra-S formula is highly rated and a great alternative to what the main dealers try to sell you at a much more inflated price. Non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable and non-corrosive, making it safe for finished metal wheels

Unlike the pressurized sealant cans, these kits can pump a truly flat tire up to its recommended pressure. And because the sealant isn’t pressurized before you use it, you can keep the kit in your car. (Pressurized cans risk rupturing if left in a hot car.)

In terms of using the sealant, you’ll need to use the supplied tool to fully deflate the tyres and attempt to remove any objects (normally a screw). Once complete, squeeze the sealant into the tyre and use a car tyre inflator to add air. The way its supposed to work on an non-sound-deadening tire is that after you remove the nail, the sealant is injected through the air valve along with the air from the pump. It then pools at the bottom of the tire (but the foam is in the way with a Tesla Tire) so when you drive off the sealant coats the entire inner surface of the tire, ON A NORMAL CAR. The air will then force the GOO sealant to enter the hole and plug it up...theoretically! (BTW, it's not permanent and the tire will need to be professionally repaired or replaced) This Slime Flat Tyre Repair Kit is also convenient to use on adapters for rafts, balls and other inflatables, easy to take on holiday for beside-the-pool use. If you spot something like a nail or piece of glass that’s pierced the tyre, don’t try to take it out. That could make the hole bigger. Once you’ve found the puncture, you can re-position the wheel by driving forward a little to make it easier to repair.
