Hydration- This moisturising formula is a blend of Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide, which are known to plump and hydrate the skin while also targeting texture and tone. Niacinamide does a wonderful job at brightening the complexion. Next up, we have Second Skin Matte. I’ve reviewed this before and compared it to Second Skin Dewy, showing that they both look very similar on my skin. This comes in 30 shades and is one of my all-time favourite bases. It gives more coverage than HydraTint & Tint & Glow but still feels lightweight on the skin. This is one of the most commonly asked questions since posting my reel. And hopefully, the photos will show the difference visually. On my skin, Tint & Glow is much more glowy than HydraTint. It doesn’t dry down on me, so I’d have to powder Tint & Glow for it to stay in place on my skin.

From there, you can either go in with your favourite foundation if you want slightly more coverage and a longer-lasting base, or pinpoint conceal areas that you feel need it. This is described as a moisturising tinted serum and comes in 20 shades. It’s made up of 90% skincare ingredients, including Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and Centella Asiatica Water and Ceramides to boost the skin’s integrity. We currently have 30 shades of Second Skin in a range of undertones and each shade is the exact same in both the matte and the dewy finish. This is a gradual tan serum that you buff over your moisturiser (with the brush provided) in the morning or evening. I go for evening if you're interested. Hannah’s first ‘gentle layer’ is one I would never have thought of, but before her main foundation, she applies a sheer, light coverage, illuminating one.

Now that’s all well and good for some, but a fun fact about me is that I’m a sweater. If I’m hot, my forehead won’t keep it a secret. Which is unfortunate because it means I need to use more powder and therefore lose that fresh face, Princess Eugenie style.

Next up is our award winning Second Skin foundation. This is our medium buildable coverage foundation with added SPF50. HydraTint is the sheerest of the four bases when applying the same amount of each base to the skin. Each product can be sheered out as much as you’d like, just by using less, but in comparison to each other, this looks the most sheer on the skin. I like that I can build it up easily if I need extra coverage, and it works best on my skin when I apply it with my fingers. But you can apply it with a brush or a sponge too. Available in both a Matte and a Dewy formula, Second Skin allows you to choose your finish based on what suits your skin type the most. We suggest the matte finish for those with normal to oily skin or for those who need an oil free base but still like their skin to look hydrated & radiant. On the other hand, the dewy finish works best for those with normal to dry skin who love a little glow. It has added essential oils like aloe vera and lavender oil to further hydrate & nourish the skin.
