In particular when Sunny first came to Rainbow High, she and Skyler worked together to cheer her up and make her feel right at home.
Like most of her friends, Skyler was rather awkward and uncomfortable around Amaya when she first came to Rainbow High, seeing her as Bella's replacement. This opinion did change however when she learned of Amaya's impressive talents in fashion, a skill they both shared. Their relationship grew even more when they started to team up on designing outfits for their group, working together to design all of the runway outfits. When it comes to relationships, she's shown to have a boyfriend since 6th grade. Still, she has no tolerance for those who don't treat their partners well, and especially boys who hurt her. She previously was Colin's girlfriend, but shut it down immediately upon learning that he wanted to break up with her.
Just like Poppy, Sunny is close with Skyler due to the three of them being roommates. The two are frequently seen together and enjoy each other's company, with Skylar helping cheer Sunny up on her first day of school.December 6th, 2020: Skyler's cheer doll is released, being spotted at Walmart in the United States and Canada. Her appearance is similar to Blue Skye's appearance from the similar franchise Rainbow Surprise; because of this, she might be inspired by Blue Skye.

Play with the G.L.A.M Squad at Rainbow High!
While being close and stable friends, Skyler and Jade do not interact very much, but they show a great deal of respect for each other's talents and contributions. Due to Skyler's timid nature, she greatly clashes with Gabriella's large ego and snarky personality, despite having a similar major. Skyler initially admired Avery, mainly for her popularity, but never is shown to interact with her at first. However, she forms a friendship with Avery, with Avery talking about her and the other A’s origins and Skyler even offering to be their new A, which she seems to like. The two become so caught up in talking, that they fail to notice they left the fabric in the dye bath for too long, with Skyler blaming herself and Avery standing up for her. They remain close after this, bonding over their love for fashion.
Skyler and Bella were close friends, often bonding over their love of art and their more timid natures. When Bella was expelled, Skyler, like her other friends, all felt very sad for Bella and did not want her to go. Skyler is an anglicized version of the name "Schuyler", it was presumably chosen for the "sky" within the name.

She is the first main character to form a close friendship with someone from Shadow High, this friendship being formed with Shanelle. She seems to be a huge fan of Tiara as she was hypnotized when Tiara entered the stage. Additionally, she cheered for her and the rest of The Royal Three.
