About this deal

i will get me a strafe keyboard and allt he other led stuff soon would be cool to controll everything together...

not only that i dont think you can buy just the commander core or node core on its its own i think they have to be in a bundle un like the commander and lighting node pro. (cold be wrong on that thow i haven't look ) I'm just wondering if I maybe did something to make the pump fans act together with the other fans? I just want all my fans to light up all at once, and like I said, they did ALL light up when I first turned on my PC, it is a custom built PC, and there's also 4 light strips, and one commander pro inside the system. My PC will have 5 RGB ML120s, and some Corsair strip lights (probably 4 strips daisy chained together). I will for sure have a Commander Core, but exactly what other controllers do I need to control all of that with iCue? (fan speed and RGB) To assign lighting to your fans or strips, select the fan series you want to edit on the left menu.

Apple cancelled this, now what?

Right now my fans speed control are plugged into my motherboard so I can't use iCue to create a custom fan curve like I could with the Pro, but from my understanding, the Core has that same feature. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Storage/CORSAIR-Link-Lighting-Node/p/CL-9011103-WW I probably will be giving my modified lights to my sister when I upgrade though. So, I was thinking, she would need a Node Pro (and the included controller) to control the lights, so I was going to give her my current Node and buy a set of Corsair strip lights (which came with another Node Pro), to replace it as I want the strip lights anyways, and I can't find a way to get a node pro on it's own. I was originally thinking all 5 of my ML120s could plug into the Core, but now I am starting to find that the Core is just a fan speed controller, so I could do that, but the Core can't control RGB by itself. Correct? How then, is the Commander Pro any better (for my applications) than the Commander Core included with my CPU cooler?

the lighting node core can only do the lighting but it can only do 6 fans were as the node pro with 2 hubs can do 12. and the pro with the 3 pin has the real rgb feature so the can light up at diffrent colors at the same time? With the CORSAIR LC100 Case Accent Lighting Triangles, you can further personalize your PC with nine interconnected and customizable mini RGB lighting panels. This article contains instructions and a video on how to install the LC100. The LIGHTING NODE PRO features a single mini-USB port to communicate with CORSAIR LINK on your PC, two separate channels for RGB LED strips or RGB fan hubs, and a single SATA power plug. The LIGHTING NODE PRO also features onboard memory so that lighting effects can be stored directly on the device and run without CORSAIR LINK (such as while you're in BIOS).

Each ARGB wire needs its own Lighting Node Pro channel, these don't work with the Corsair Lighting Hub unfortunately. But, now I'm starting to see that I might still need a node (along with the other included controller) to control the RGB on the fans, and the all then all the Commander Pro does is control their speed. now form what i gathered they included the hub in the core for space saving less cables saposly less "confusing"
