About this deal

A top gift idea for boys and girls age 10+ and any fan, the set comes with step-by-step building instructions. Explore the entire LEGO Star Wars range to find other construction sets that will delight all ages.

Inside the box are bags numbered from 1 to 9. Strangely my bag 4 had a bit of a small tear in it, but thankfully no pieces were missing. The first figure included is The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. This figure is no longer new now, having appeared in around 6 sets, but it’s still an excellent figure. He is armed with his blaster rifle and a beskar spear. Moff Gideon's intriguing command vessel, which resembles the prominent Arquitens-class Cruiser, has attracted attention and 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser appears quite impressive. This model captures an authentic shape and contains several appealing minifigures, notably including Moff Gideon and his menacing Dark Trooper. Minifigures In this range, there were 24 minifigures released – two identical figures of the Mandalorian – so 23 distinct characters. (add 2 more from 75296 = 25 in total)It’s not particularly fun to play with, as the TIE only launches a few centimetres, and the feature only works with the top of the ship open so it looks rather odd. I’m not sure this play feature was an effective use of parts. This Star Wars Mandalorian building toy makes an attention-grabbing display piece and a wonderful LEGO birthday gift or holiday present However, several spots in the interior cannot hold figures when the ship cover is closed, due to the height limitations. This is slightly disappointing but still understandable, as preserving the correct external shape is more important to me than usable interior space. The minifigure selection in this set is good, with some standouts like Fennec Shand and the Dark Trooper, but I feel like a set of this size needed one more figure. Personally, I would’ve liked a live-action version of Bo-Katan, or even just another Dark Trooper.

The starship toy features a bridge that doubles as a handle for flying and 2 rotating turrets with spring-loaded shooters for epic battles The body uses the LEGO baby body mould, while the head is a unique rubbery mould. I love the big printed eyes and the long ears. The torso has some printing but the area printed is a little small, still that is a minor complaint. It’s still a decent figure, with good head, torso, and leg printing, but I wonder if another more interesting figure could have been included instead, since this minifigure already appears in another set.And so it is complete. Overall I appreciate the look of the craft. The silhouette fits nicely, and the underlying technic elements in the conning tower provide a sturdy handle, improving the overall swooshability of the model. The tiny TIE fighters are gorgeous. One can be placed in the opening at the front, and pushed forwad. Unfortunately, this mechanism is only functional when the cabin lid is open. Last but not least is Baby Yoda aka Grogu, who isn’t a new figure, but still looks absolutely adorable.
