About this deal

These are my favorite, least tactility out of the bunch but there’s already so much I can deal with it. Tactility - 8 Ok this might be an option over Holy Panda or Zealio v2. This kind of switch has probably the biggest PEAK in tactility. Improvements: There’s more tactility, and the stem itself is smoother. The spring is much snappier than the old one, which was already starting to get quite snappy in its own right.

Sounds are crisper, deeper, and well satisfying to your ears as I have already elaborated about Zealios V2 switches sound above. I compared them to a bunch of switches I had on hand on my mill-max tada68 pcb in a tofu65 case. The zealios v2's were compared to: zealio v1 67g, zealio v1 78g, outemu sky v 2.2, box royals, and box browns (not in pics). My other boards are BKE light topre boards, 55g topre, 45g topre, i'm a big fan of tactile boards and am always excited to try out new switches. Lube em. They’re similar to unlubed, but with the weakness of the spring grind gone and some added B U T T E RZealios - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. Tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. From beginning to end, the spring is heavier than all other Zealio variants. These feel fairly similar to the 62g, there’s really nothing special about these ones compared to the 62g except it’s slightly heavier. The tactility doesn’t really increase that much with this small of an increase in weight. Tactility - 8.1 Let’s clear all the queries by providing you with an in-depth article about Zealios V2 switches based on their review, specifications, and How Zealios switches work. It comes in 4 variants which are classified according to the bottom-out force of the switches like 62g, 65g, 67g, and 78g.

The sound of a Zealio has been one of their characteristics from the very beginning. They’re quite loud, and they’re quite high pitched. This is due to using the clear plastic that makes it so smooth in the first place and I don’t see this going away and I really don’t want it to. These are tactile, like really tactile. Compared to V1s, they are very different. The v1's have more of a traditional, softer landing. Initial impressions are that they feel like a refined, more rounded bump, and much better version of Kailh Box Royals. While the tactile bump of the V1 Redux switches might be just a hair stronger than that of the OG V1 switches, they are altogether remarkably similar in terms of tactile bump placement, strength, and overall size as well. Zealios V2 (62g.) We also have the big upcoming contender: The holy panda. This guy has been the talk of the town for a while and direct comparisons between the two have been happening all over the place. In this review, I will not discuss the holy panda to too much detail. This is not a holy panda review. You will see a fair amount of tidbits concerning holy pandas, however, because that’s probably a lot of the market for the Zealio V2. If you love to type on tactile switches due to their tactile bump with slightly less noise, then you’ll fall in love for sure with Zealios switches.Overall, the stem wobble in both the N/S and E/W directions is definitely noticeably better in the Zealios V1 Reduxes than the Zealios V2 switches, and the OG Zealios V1 switches for that matter. Scores and Statistics

Things that worsened: Overall roundedness - there’s less roundness, and the tactility is much sharper now. It still ramps up so it’s not like BOX Royal bad, but it’s much less round than before. There’s a lot of tactility. So much that it might alienate. Your mileage may vary. I also realized after this round, that Zeal probably worked a lot on it, he changed everything, and he had to do many fails and attempts before making it that good. Props to him.

Hear me out -- A Wearable Stereo - oladance OWS Pro

Imho the difference in sound between this Zealio v2 and HP doesn't justify the lost in tactility of the HP, and again, the difference is not that big in sound (and also subjective). This is the silent version of the ever-popular Zealios V2. Just like its brother, the Zilents V2 is a damn good tactile switch. The Zealios and Zilents V2 share a lot of features, but you’ll find that the Zilents have slightly less tactility. This can be chalked up to the fact that it has a shorter travel. Zealio 78g - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. Tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. From beginning to end, the spring is heavier than all other Zealio variants.

All Zealio V2 have reduced wobble that's less than Holy Pandas, while managing to be even more tactile with a bigger, smoother bump as well. The bump starts at the very top of the keypress, with no pre-travel. So all the hype about these switches on the market is really justified or it is being circulated only for grabbing attention. The tactility event starts right at the top and feels like it ends up right before bottoming out. Basically with this switch i feel like you will always bottomout. While the tactile bump in the Zealios V1 Redux switches is ever so slightly more punchy than that of the TTC Blueish White, a better comparison would be to say that the Zealios feel more coherent and sharper. The TTCs, by comparison, feel a lot more muted and less clear in their tactile bump part of their stroke. In terms of stem wobble, the Azure Dragons are ever so slightly more wobbly than that of the Zealios V1 Reduxes in both the N/S and E/W directions. OG Invyr Holy Panda

Spring is no longer pingy like before (a big problem of old Zealio imho) and the overall sound changed. It's a really good smooth sound. Both in terms of tactile bump strength as well as tactile bump size, the Novelkeys Cream Tactiles are noticeably more tactile than the Zealios V1 Redux switches. In addition to the bump being longer throughout the stroke, as well, it also starts a lot earlier in the downstroke in the Cream Tactiles than in the Zealios. These switches have much-advanced functionality as well as have reduced wobble which helps users to type with more comfortability.
