The vet prescribed Nutracalm last week for Pheebs as she's been a bundle of nerves lately. They're herbal alternatives to anti anxiety meds apparently. If your cat is taking more than 1 capsule a day we would recommend spreading the daily recommendation throughout the day. From reading the leaflet inside the box, I don't think they're the right type of thing for Phoebe. It says "give 1-2 capsules a few hours before an event that may cause your dog stress such as vet visits or firework displays." I can see how they would be beneficial for those situations.. but it doesn't appear as though they do much for general every day anxiety which is what I think Phoebe needs at the minute. These seem to be more for an immediate, short lived effect.
