About this deal

The complaint notes that at the top of the slide, McGuinness “assumed the appropriate position," which is to ride with legs crossed, as instructed by employees of the park. “Whether ankles are crossed or not, riding down The Slide carries with it specific risks about which Disney knew or, in the exercise of reasonable care, should have known,” the lawsuit says. In 1975, the Midwestern Journal of Language and Folklore published a piece mentioning that "A boy sneaks behind another boy and tugs his underwear." In New England, this is "giving someone a wedgie." The term wedgie is unknown in Minnesota where the identical act is a "snuggie" describing an actual phenomenon which existed amongst school aged children.

Dog Man • Dog Man: Unleashed • Dog Man: A Tale of Two Kitties • Dog Man and Cat Kid • Dog Man: Lord of the FLEAS • Dog Man: Brawl of the Wild • Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls • Dog Man: Fetch-22 • Dog Man: Grime and Punishment • Dog Man: Mothering Heights • Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea The story about the destruction of Captain Underpants's homeworld was a joke on the destruction of Superman's homeworld. Captain Underpants: The Wedgie Woman, the titular villain of the fifth book, accomplishes this through Prehensile Hair. Shown in the Trope Image.Marvel Infinites: In chapter 1, Alex admits that someone gave him a wedgie at school. Apparently, it happens so often that his siblings barely care. An ad made for Revista Oficial Nintendo to advertise Mario Kart: Super Circuit depicts an old man giving another one a wedgie while they're playing the game. The incident, which happened in 2019, left her so injured that she needed to be taken to a "hospital for the repair of her gynecologic injuries by a specialist." Ennui GO!: In "Lunchbox", Jericho and Cyrus give a student a wedgie up a flagpole for carrying a lunchbox.

When she almost marries Mr. Krupp, she refuses because he has a "silly nose". Ironically, they have the same nose. In the film, the gold plate on the front of his desk was changed from "Kneel Here" to "Hope Dies Here". Though, some of the early film promotional pictures had "Kneel Here" on it (or the plate was blank). As the principals, they hold an all-day carnival for all the students and put the teachers (and Melvin Sneedly for his tattling) in detention. After telling Mr. Krupp that they sold most of the school's furniture to pay for the carnival, Krupp gets angry and they run away for their lives Benjamin also cares about his job, as he feared he would lose his job in the second book after seeing the school destroyed by the Talking Toilets until George and Harold managed to fix the school. Additionally, when Tippy Tinkletrousers unintentionally changed the past, he unintentionally caused Benjamin to be fired from his post as principal. Benjamin Krupp was shown shedding a tear as he was walking away with his "Krupp Stuff." With that happening also meant that in a few more years, he himself would never get hypnotized by George and Harold and become Captain Underpants, and the villains from the first three books would take over the world, end up in a rough battle which eventually resulted in the world’s destruction. It added that Ms McGuinness "assumed the appropriate position" of riding with her legs crossed but was still injured.A magazine ad for the Lemon Wedgie flavor of Altoids features a nerdy boy holding a container of Altoids hanging by his underwear. There's a Running Gag where Gina gets wedgies at the hands of Penny as apart of their "wedgie war". No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: In chapter 7, "Kathleen for the Win", Lyle gives Chandler a flagpole wedgie.

Wedgie Woman kidnaps the boys and uses her super-powered intelligence to build robot copies of the two boys, Robo-George and The Harold 2000. George thinks the Extra Strength Super Power Juice must have soaked into her brain. The robots are equipped with Spray Starch to take away Captain Underpants's powers. Like most of the staff at Jerome Horwitz Elementary, Miss Anthrope is cruel and could care less about the well-being of children. She is usually apathetic to everything and hates it when Krupp bosses her around. She could be cruel most likely because she gets bossed around and she might want to show off that she should not be bossed around. The book first starts off with a rant about how grown-ups (such as your parents) encourage something initially when you are very young and discourage it greatly as you grow older. Then it goes to the staff of Jerome Horwitz Elementary School who are anything but trustworthy are extremely cruel to children. However, George and Harold manage to outsmart them frequently since they aren't very bright. The lawsuit also mentions that Ms. McGuinness was wearing a one-piece bathing suit but it did not stop the water from being "forcefully pushed inside" her. Miss Ribble is the fourth villain inadvertently created by George and Harold, the first three were the Turbo Toilet 2000, his talking toilets, and the Dandelion of Doom. Coincidentally, Wedgie Woman and the dandelion were both affected by Extra Strength Super Power Juice.Sakura Diaries: In chapter 96, Urara receives a wedgie from her new boss, claiming that employees' underwear should be more revealing. He, Captain Underpants, George, and Harold are the only characters to appear in every episode of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. There are several strips where Bob the Dinosaur gives people different wedgies, usually under the request of Dogbert. The lawsuit described what happened: "The impact of The Slide and [Ms McGuinness'] impact into the standing water at the bottom of The Slide caused Ms McGuinness' clothing to be painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her." Evil Wedgie Robo-Claw (comic only): Wedgie Woman was depicted in George and Harold's comic book as having a robotic claw that could extend out of her hair part as she had become a cyborg. She would use the claw to give wedgies just as the actual Wedgie Woman would with her hair arms. She was also depicted as having super strength and speed as via her cybernetics ("we can rebuild her, make her faster, stronger, eviler!") It remains unknown whether or not Wedgie Woman actually had these additional powers, but she may nonetheless, have believed she had them.

In #2034, "Leonard is Done", Leonard receives an atomic wedgie shortly after winning the "Battle to the Death II" at the hands of one of the competitors. The song that Ms. Ribble makes the class sing for her retirement party parodies the song "We Love You Conrad" from the musical "Bye Bye Birdie". Wedgie Woman is a parody of Wonder Woman, but she acts more like Superwoman (an evil alternate universe counterpart to Wonder Woman). Good Mythical Morning: In a video titled "Wedgie Machine Challenge", Rhett and Link play a game similar to hangman called "Wedgieman", with the main difference being that they received wedgies via a hook and crank that get worse each time they get a letter wrong. One of the commercials advertising Spider-Man: Friend or Foe has Spider-Man giving Sandman a wedgie to convince him to fight for good. One strip has Dilbert invite a man over to his house who turns out to be a wanted criminal on "America's Most Wanted" for giving wedgies to an entire town of people. Dilbert then ends up being his next victim. While Wedgie Woman is building Robo-George and the Harold 2000, one of her hair arms draws a sketch of the fully-clothed Robo-George that is doing the same poses as Leonardo da Vinci's drawing, Vitruvian Man.
