It works really well on the sofa, bed, car seats and other soft surfaces.

Shark states that the WV361UK has a 16-minute run-time, although this is without the motorised floor brush. Attach a motorised tool and battery life is closer to 12 minutes. On Boost mode, you’ll get less than 10 minutes. Shark has included Anti Hair Wrap technology on the WV362UKT which uses a unique bristle-guard comb to separate and remove hair from the brush roll as you clean. On the standard ION mode, the cleaner came in at 62.78AW, which is around average for a cordless vacuum cleaner in regular power mode. With Boost mode, I measured the vacuum at 124.65AW, which is around the same as the larger Shark IZ251UK. That’s impressive going. With just a two and half hour charge time, this lightweight vacuum is always on hand when you need it – and always charging on the base when you don’t. A bagless design, you can empty the container into your dustbin with just one touch. It also comes with a washable HEPA filter making this model easy to maintain.

You can say goodbye to constantly stopping to untangle hair from the brush-roll too. Shark’s anti-hair-wrap technology (located in the floorhead attachment) removes hair from the brush-roll using a bristle guard and comb as you vacuum to keep it tangle-free – perfect for homes with furry friends. I found this vacuum cleaner quite noisy, peaking at 81.9dB on ION mode and 82.3dB on Boost mode. That’s a bit louder than most regular cordless cleaners, although the high-pitched motor here isn’t particularly annoying. Conclusion Enjoy up to 32 minutes run time with this twin battery model.
