The Samsung Q80T features the latest iteration of the Tizen platform, which uses a two tier interface comprising launch bar and contextual thumbnails, and a raft of IP delivered Samsung Plus TV channels. Those who are wall-mounting (or who simply want to move cable-clutter as far away from the display as possible) can still place the new unit on a separate shelf or in a cupboard, and its new shape and size should make it far easier to find a home for. The Q80A is built on Samsung’s own Tizen smart platform. It’s similarly well served with apps and smart features, with a full selection of apps and catch-up services, including all the big names. This is a huge improvement on 2019’s Samsungs and the Q80T feels like a real coming of age. V obou případech se rovněž jedná o panel typu 8 bit + FRC. Barevné přechody tedy nejsou zcela dokonalé, ale v běžném provozu se musíte hodně pozorně koukat, aby nedokonalosti byli vidět. Q80T má kupodivu výrazně lepší i zvládání slunečních odlesků. Když to shrnu, tak Q80T je v mnoha ohledech lepší televize a její následník je v kontextu svého předchůdce lehké zklamání. Ona mnohé naznačuje i cena, která je u obou modelů v tuto chvíli skoro totožná. V případech kdy jsou oba televizory rovnocené, je cena novějšího modelu většinou o několik desítek procent vyšší. Kdybych měl Q80A někomu doporučit, tak nejspíš hráčům, kteří u televize tráví většinu času přes den. Pro náročné filmové diváky vhodná není, pro ty nenáročné je naopak zbytečně drahá a stejně dobře poslouží nějaký základní model z AU série. There are now four versions of OTS, with the new OTS Lite at the bottom and OTS Pro at the top. Each version differs in terms of the number of speakers involved. V rozích obrazovky jsou patrné tmavší části. Highend Samsungy jsou poslední roky skvělé ve zvládání slunečních odlesků. Q80A není ten případ. Tedy, není v tom rozhodně nijak špatná. Jen není tak dobrá jako byla Q80T nebo jiné QLED televizory. Co z toho plyne? Díky vysokému jasu je tv vhodná pro slunné místnosti. Ale pořád dáva smysl řešit její umístění, protože pokud na ni bude slunce svítit přímo, na obraz to bude mít znatelný dopad.
