Just when hope was about to be in Batman's hands it was snatched by Harley who stole it from Freeze's safe while he was fighting Batman.Batman eventually woke up and was taunted by Joker about killing Talia and poisoning Gotham, and Batman voiced his contemplation whether he should give Joker the cure or let him die to which Joker suddenly attempted to take the cure by force with a knife only for Batman to accidentally drop it to the ground, rendering it destroyed. After Batman revealed that he was going to give the cure to the Joker even after all his horrible acts, Joker started laughing at the irony before succumbing to his disease and died as his arch-nemesis watched. Joker appeared in the episode " Pyramid Scheme", as he paid money to Raven, Cyborg and Starfire. His next appearance was in " The Titans Show", where he was revealed to be one of the viewers in Control Freak's summer event. Well, what do you know? You did it. You took 'em all out. Underneath his terrifying demeanour and bravado, Joker was actually capable of fear. He was terrified of death and looked for any means to cure himself going as far as when the chance for immortality came across him, he instantly grabbed it. His own self-obsession was so great that when he discovered the Joker-Virus manifested within five people, turning them into imitations of his own personality he was outraged and he deems them 'Joker-fakes'. Above all, he was not only afraid of dying but being forgotten by the people of Gotham. This is exploited by Batman when the Joker-Virus takes control of Bruce's mind which ultimately results in his final defeat before he is laid to rest by both the city and Batman. During the second wave of Thugs a pair of Knife Thugs drops in – remember that you have to stun them with your cape (B) first before you can combo or take them down with damage. These ones actually have two knives each, and they are pretty good at hurting you so be aware of that and try to take some of the regular Thugs down first to make your life easier. Fortunately, the effects of Titan were only temporary, and the transformed inmates eventually returned to normal. The Joker, however, suffered worse because an overdose from his dart gun that caused the residual Titan to be left in his bloodstream and reacted with the other chemicals in his body. However if you shot at it, the music stopped playing. In " Egg Hunt", Joker and the rest of the inmates were freed by the Titans, who could search the asylum in peace.Unlike the other inmates, Joker doesn't appear to have an identifiable or decorated cell in Arkham Asylum. The only cell that could possibly be his is one found in the penitentiary, because on the wall someone has written "Welcome to my humble abode". Alternatively, he could be kept in the "Extreme Isolation" area of the Asylum, which is the one place that the player can not explore. Part of me just wants to flip that switch. But it is Christmas Eve... and he is the Calendar Man. *wheezing laughter* and that's just too perfect to ignore. You're gonna owe me for this, Julian. And that could be... useful. Physical Enhancement: TITAN was much more potent than Venom, and required only a small amount for a Bane-like reaction, resulting in developing inhuman amounts of muscle mass and bone strength.
