I find iKKO to be quite an interesting company as it makes unpredictable products. Users want a budget IEM, here are Gems OH1s and OH1. Dongles? We have them too with the Zerda. BT DAC? Well, the challenge was accepted!

The Ikkō-ikki were, at first, disparate and disorganized followers of Rennyo's teachings. His missionary work, and his appointment to the position of abbot of the Kyoto Hongan-ji, was in 1457, allowed him to "express in words and deeds" his unorthodox views. I would have to say the TC44A does have good imaging and soundstage for its price range. Nothing to complain about that. Along with the pleasant forward midrange tuning, the Gems OH1S have a balanced midrange region. The lower and higher midrange felt equal, such that male and female vocals are on the same positioning. Electric and acoustic guitars also sound natural and crisp.

The iKKO ITB03 takes only 1.5 hrs to fully charge its 550mAh battery, which gives you 9 hours of playtime on the 3.5mm output. With an impedance of 18 Ohms and a sensitivity of 106 dB/mW, the OH10 can be fairly easily driven by almost any portable device, but the driver’s fidelity and resolution do seem to benefit from a high-quality source. The mids are a touch on the thin side when judged with a critical ear, but overall tonality is decent. These IEMs aren’t mid-focused tuned, but what’s there is acceptable. Treble In terms of soundstage, the Aria outperforms the other two, providing the widest and deepest stage, but the OH2 comes very close in terms of imaging and instrument separation.
