I agree the smaller straw is smaller than, for example, a McDonald’s straw. However, we had no issues with drinking water, tea or coffee. There is a larger straw provided if you have trouble. RTIC compromises on quality very slightly, with some plastic parts, but the vacuum insulation is all that it needs to be.
