About this deal

Convertible tops, soft tops, boat enclosures, tonneau covers, vinyl caravan awnings…these are just a few of the places that benefit from this protectant that contains an SPF 40 sunscreen. Now that we've established what 303 Aerospace Protectant is, let's dive into its key features that make it a must-have for anyone looking to protect their valuable surfaces. Matt: Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate it. I’m lining up some more similar “simple” articles that should be up shortly, so hopefully you’ll enjoy those as well. Tempting though it might be, you can’t just clean everything with one wet sponge. You need the right stuff for metal, the right stuff for glass, the right stuff for paint and of course, the right stuff for plastics both inside and out. And that latter point is where Aerospace 303 comes into play. You can use it on your engine, on your dash on a your doors and much more. It’s incredibly versatile, and promises to be easy to use. But of course, we’re not going to take the bottle’s word for it. Time to test! The Product

The single biggest cause of damage to materials such as gelcoat fibreglass, vinyl, rubber and Dacron is UV degradation. As the name would suggest, Aerospace 303 was – along with other products from the Aerospace brand – designed for use on aircraft and the like. However, it’s not available to those of us more grounded, and it’s become extremely popular as a result. A water-based protectant, Aerospace 303 is a simple spray on/wipe off liquid that can be used on hard plastics and rubber to clean them, to give them a rich shine and that also offers a decent level of UV protection. That’s particularly useful when it comes to delicate dashboards in older cars and the like. It’s got no silicon or oils in it, so there is no residue left behind, instead you’re left with a clean, matt finish. The only consideration is of course based around this being a chemical, so don’t use it in close spaces (open your windows) and try not to drink it or spray it in your eyes. Tempting, but don’t, okay?

So my suggestion is simply get Armor All and water it down 5 to 1, you'll get the protection of Aerospace 303 and it'll really stretch it out to be more economical than even mineral oil. And will actually protect plastics, mineral oil won't.

Not only does it protect against water damage, but it also guards against other environmental factors such as dust, dirt, and pollutants. Constant exposure to the elements can take a toll on its appearance and structural integrity. However, by regularly applying 303 Aerospace Protectant, you can protect your furniture from the damaging effects of rain, snow, and even saltwater. The protectant forms a barrier that repels water and prevents it from seeping into the material, ensuring that your furniture remains in top condition for years to come. Simply spray or wipe the 303 Aerospace Protectant on any vinyl, rubber, plastic and leather surface and you’ll instantly have a richer looking finish with valuable UV protection. The superior protection this product provides is critical to the long term care of your vehicle. The 303 Protectant is great to use on your vehicle’s rubber (tires, seals, hoses), vinyl (dashboard, doors, armrests, interior and exterior trim, engine casings, convertible tops), plastic (car bras, gauges, grills, trim, convertible’s soft windows), leather (seats, trim) and so much more. This versatile product gives all of these surfaces valuable conditioners and protection that will keep each surface looking new and fresh for years to come with regular treatments. The tires, leather seats, exterior trim and dashboard often get prolonged exposure to harmful UV rays so it’s important to thoroughly protect those surfaces. Keeping your interior looking clean and dust free can be challenging, but the 303 Protectant is up to the challenge. Applying the 303 Protectant to your dashboard, arm rests, seats and doors will help repel dust, dirt and human oils from collecting. Many other dressings are oily and greasy which can actually attract dust and dry out the surface. Any surface you apply Aerospace Protectant to will leave behind a beautiful matte finish. From cars and boats to outdoor furniture and even household items, this versatile product ensures that your surfaces stay in pristine condition, no matter the environment. Application Process of 303 Aerospace Protectant Furthermore, 303 Aerospace Protectant goes beyond just protecting and repelling. It also nourishes and revitalizes surfaces, thanks to its powerful conditioners. These conditioners penetrate deep into the surface, rejuvenating and restoring the material. Whether it's vinyl, rubber, plastic, or leather, this protectant will extend the lifespan of treated materials, keeping them looking and feeling like new. While 303 Aerospace Protectant offers long-lasting protection, it's advisable to reapply the product every three to five weeks, depending on usage and environmental factors. Regular reapplication ensures that surfaces remain shielded and in optimal condition. Cleaning and Care Tips Aerospace 303 the percentage of silicone is actually stated in the MSDS. So that's easy enough. And simply do this test weigh Aerospace 303 before drying and after. Then do the same with Armor All. If you're unwilling to even do this, you have no standing to just assume I have no idea what I'm talking about. As you can see, the Aerospace 303 did a rather excellent job. The hard plastics look deep and rich in colour, the hoses are free of any remaining dirt and they also have a rich colour to them. In terms of effort against result, this product is incredible. We literally sprayed it on, left it, them wiped over the engine bay. That’s it. We could have gone mad with detailing brushes and the like, but, you know… it’s a Streetwise. We wanted to use Aerospace 303 in the most casual way, as that’s how most people will indeed use it. And given the impressive results, they – and we – will keep using it. A couple of weeks later, the engine bay still looked as good as the day we cleaned it. Being under a bonnet does of course make the UV protection offered somewhat moot. However, the product offers around four weeks of protection for exposed plastics.
