James Sclavunos joins me on Drums (again), Alex Ward on Rhythm Guitar and Harry Bohay on Bass. All three played on Queen High Straight (although Alex was saxophone on that album, not guitar…) The new video has Transvision Vamp whizzing about “on Harley Davidson choppers with Triumph gear on, which is sacrilege to bikers. Our whole thing is a mish-mash of images, see?”Post Elvis Costello, I took a look at everything - there wasn't much incentive to carry on unless I was going to produce the music which reflects my taste and personality. I didn't want to be put on a shelf in terms of a record label and wait 18 months for it to be released, by which time the album's really old. Or even worse case scenario where they just refuse to put it out which is what happened with the UK release of Transvision Vamp's final album.
