About this deal

With special thanks to Accolade Wines for sending us a crate of Lambrini to drink with the band, we quiz the Lambrini Girls on their knowledge of the brand with questions inspired by their recent EP. But after a crate of Lambrini (and with Urban Dictionary and Reddit being our points of reference) this quiz is not to be taken seriously. Lambrini is available in Original (6% ABV), Luci (3.5% ABV), Cherry, Peach and Strawberry (all 5% ABV). A 2009 study on alcohol sold in supermarkets and off licences in North East England identified Lambrini as the cheapest alcohol in the wine category, measured on the price of a unit of alcohol. [3]

We will work closely with Accolade and our customers through the period of transition to ensure continued delivery of the Lambrini brand to market.” Moderate - On your feet for much of the day, either standing or occasional slow paced walking. Typical jobs: shop assistant, teacher, chef/cook, bar worker, engineer. The bubbly range currently includes five flavours: So Strawberry, Very Cherry, Truly Peach, Always Original and Skinny Original. Truly Peach (ABV 5%) was the first one I tried and it was so delicious! It’s so summery and fruity, sweet but not too sweet, and perfect enjoyed chilled in the sunshine. Nope, not Palma Violets. I want actual ones, not limited edition ones or ones that I can’t buy now. Phoebe: I’d put Three Lions on it. And underneath it would say ‘Join the Army’. With RAF propaganda.Heavy - Active for much of the day, walking non-stop and carrying objects. Typical jobs: hospital/ward nurse, waitressing in a busy restaurant, cleaner, porter, labourer/construction worker, gardener, farm worker. Leisure Activity Level Light - Have a job that involves long periods of sitting (office-based / driving) or are home-based and sitting for much of the day. Typical jobs: office worker, sales rep, bus/taxi/lorry driver. Accolade chief executive, Robert Foye, said: “Lambrini has such a strong heritage and is loved by British consumers. We are excited about the role the brand will play in our broader strategic growth plans for the UK and Europe.”

From the fantastic reaction that we’ve had from shoppers both for the return of our Cherry and Strawberry flavours and the launch of Mango and Rhubarb and Ginger flavours towards the end of last year, we’re confident that this exciting new offering will provide retailers with a significant sales opportunity as shoppers continue to seek out convenient, great tasting alternatives to prosecco and fruity wines at a really accessible pricepoint.” Lambrini is a light and fruity perry or pear cider that was created by Halewood Artisinal Spirits in 1994. It has been owned by Accolade Wines since June 2021. [1] Lambrini dominates the British commercial perry market, with a 53.6% market share in the off trade. Lambrini will now join Accolade staples such as Hardys and Echo Falls as part of the group’s “ambitious sustainable growth strategy”. Although Lambrini is not a wine but a perry, it is a marketed more in the style of a wine than a traditional perry or cider. [8] Its marketing is targeted at women. [9] [10] The Committee of Advertising Practice published a new edition of their advertising code in 2005, and the campaign for Lambrini was the first to be found non-compliant. [11] The Advertising Standards Authority banned the ad in question for implying that the drink may bring sexual or social success. [12] He said: “As we approach the spring/summer season, convenient drinks formats for barbeques and picnics are key. Our new range of ready to drink Lambrini cans, with their line-up of much loved fruity flavours is perfect for tapping into this opportunity. Launched by Halewood International in 1994, Lambrini is the top selling perry brand in the UK, and includes cherry, peach and strawberry flavours in addition to its original flagship pear cider.I think it’s extremely important that people who do come from a place of privilege are being very vocal about issues like this, because that’s what it’s all about. It’s about changing people’s minds and everyone coming together and actually working towards a common goal” The new Lambrini Sprits cans are available in Mango, Strawberry, Cherry and Rhubarb flavour. Each RTD can boasts 99 calories and an ABV of 4%. I love how you guys are celebrating that, when I was literally pointing with my hands higher or lower.
