As Chelsea watches Brooklyn and Malibu undergo the training session overseen by Aquaryah, Finn, Aquaryah's older brother, tries to convince her not to interact with these strangers any more than she already has, and Aquaryah argues that she is capable of handling herself. Overhearing this heated exchange causes Skipper to turn her anger on Finn and hit him with a blast of air, which in turn awakens her Air powers and turns her into an Air mermaid, for which she is congratulated by Aquaryah and Chelsea. While practicing for the competition, Malibu is having trouble with any ability to summon power from her being and laments that she may never do so, but Brooklyn consoles her. This exchange is noticed by Aquaryah, Finn's little sister, and she offers to train them in awakening their innate powers. As they train, Malibu witnesses Brooklyn's gradual development of Fire powers, but then Finn confronts Aquaryah about interacting with strangers. However, Aquaryah is confident in her own abilities, despite her brother's warnings. This heated exchange angers Skipper, and she awakens Air powers in response, being congratulated by Aquaryah. The second youngest sister, Stacie is a fun and goofy ball of energy. Strong and athletic, she loves to be constantly moving and loves active games. She is fond of animals, especially sea animals, and easily makes friends due to being outgoing. Water manipulation/Hydrokinesis: Chelsea can control and manipulate water at will. It is unclear however if her powers will remain in her human form.

It's a movie that goes above and beyond. It manages to get pretty epic, but they reinforce the character conflicts to help make it all work. It has really great songs and animation, all tied together with a wonderful message. I highly recommend this one. Malibu is intelligent and smart even if she can be a bit ditsy. She is the most level-headed and grounded of the sisters, and a natural leader.
