I also didn't find much use for the attachments: the Duster Crevice Tool and the Anti-Allergen Dusting Brush. The crevice tool is pretty standard, but the dusting brush didn't seem very effective at removing dust — or at least any more so than the regular vacuum head. Shark also seems to have thought of everything when it comes to attachments. The vacuum comes with various tools designed for different surfaces and corners. Transitioning from one to the other is easy and intuitive, allowing you to customize your cleaning approach. I am still a little annoyed that it doesn’t offer anywhere on the vacuum to store the extra nozzles/parts. But maybe vacuums don’t do that anymore and I am used to my old fossil corded one. I started by testing the Shark vacuum out at my boyfriend’s apartment. For reference, he has not owned a vacuum for the entire year he’s lived there, but I still love him (I think). The Shark made it through two thorough deep cleans of a living room, kitchen and dining area, hallway and bathroom with a few minutes of charge to spare, so the 60-minute runtime seems fairly accurate. I immediately loved how powerful the vacuum was, and at 8.9 pounds, it feels very sturdy yet is easy to maneuver. What I LikedAny part that you wash with water must be left to dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it. FLEXIBLE WAND: MultiFLEX technology allows you to bend the wand to clean under furniture, or fold it over for compact, freestanding storage. Something I didn't realize at first, but is obvious in hindsight, is that the laser function of the V12 is only baked into one of its attachments: the Laser Slim Fluffy Cleaner Head (officially my favorite vacuum attachment name of all time). In all honesty, I didn't find much use for the other attachments — which include the Motorbar Cleaner Head, Hair Screw Tool, Crevice Tool and Combination Tool — that couldn't be handled by the laser head attachment (which can be washed, by the way). Soft roller: The soft roller is very easy to remove from its slot. Its smooth surface makes it easy to clean. You should wash it with cold water as needed.

First and foremost, the suction power is commendable. Whether pet hair, crumbs, or dirt, this vacuum doesn't discriminate. It's highly effective across multiple surfaces, including hardwood floors and carpets. This versatility is a significant win in my book. UP TO 60 MINUTES OF RUNTIME: Removable battery can charge anywhere in your home, delivering up to 60 minutes of runtime. (In ECO mode, measured at the hand vacuum.) Impressive Suction: Handles various types of debris and dirt effectively, even on different surfaces. The suction when just using it as a hand-held isn't great. When I'm trying to get the dust off the air intakes, or the bottom of the fridge, the suction just isn't there. I go over it, scrubbing, for too long before it seems to come off.Multi-Surface Capability: Comes with multiple attachments that make transitioning from hardwood to carpet seamless. The concept is simple: the Stratos’ wand has a hinge three-quarters of the way up that makes it easier to clean under furniture. If you bend it all the way, this Shark vacuum becomes half as tall, allowing for compact, freestanding storage. What we don’t like Competitors have more powerful suction Post-motor filter: The post-motor filter can be found in its housing within the main body of the vacuum and is only accessible after you've removed the dirt compartment. Much like the pre-motor filters, no maintenance interval is given, but the HEPA filters in other Shark vacuums require cleaning every month. Pre-motor filters: The foam and felt pre-motor filters sit in a housing at the top of the dirt compartment, and you can only access it after you remove the dustbin. From there, you can just take them out. No maintenance interval is specified, but you need to clean similar filters in other Shark vacuums once a month.
