The Polaroid Snap offers a few features best described as extra. These include a photobooth-like tool that allows you to take four photos, one after another, and print them on the same sheet of Zink Paper. (Don't get too excited; remember, the Zink Paper is just 2x3 inches.)
You can choose to shoot in Sepia or Monochrome, rather than full colour if you prefer. The resulting images are quite fun, with the Sepia representing more of a desaturated colour image than a true sepia as we might ordinarily expect.The camera comes with a tripod mount on the bottom, which will fit most standard tripods and is useful for taking selfies . It’s true that the Polaroid Snap will never match up to a “proper” camera (or even a decent smartphone), but it also has the fun of being able to create a print within 30 seconds which you can share straightaway.

The lens is a 3.4mm f/2.8 lens, which is equivalent to a 35mm lens and is the lens on most smartphones. Even though this is a non-zooming, fixed lens, it is easy to learn and shoot images with. It not only has a better image sensor than the original Snap, but it also can hold a bigger SD card, which will help you save all of the images you take on your camera, even if you do not want to print them.
This viewfinder doesn’t have optics, nor is it electronic. It’s literally a hole through a piece of plastic. It’s billed as a “retro viewfinder” but its use is limited since it shows a much wider view than the lens actually reproduces. It takes some time to get used to how much space you need to allow without cutting off people’s heads or missing out landmarks, but it’s something you get used to with a little time and practice.If you’re using the Polaroid Snap in low light, you can get some nice atmospheric shots, but it would be nice if you could switch the flash off if you needed to.
