Plumbing pipes are measured differently depending on their type. The two measurements most plumbers are concerned about are Outside Diameter (OD) and Nominal Pipe Size (NPS). The product is designed to be wrapped around the outside diameter of the pipework or trunking and is secured by a self-adhesive strip. When you reach the end of a pipe or the end of the insulation, simply tape the insulation into place.
