I also didn't like the screw which is used to squeeze the hook fitting once it's in place. For a start, I had to try four screwdrivers to find one that fitted it properly, and even then the amount of force needed to stop the clip sliding threatened to strip the head. Despite the fact that this is aimed at the commuter market, I'd be happy taking it touring too – the additional weight of the pannier itself isn't a deal breaker, and its waterproof and rugged build make it ideal for long days of inclement travel. I’ve not only used this bag while riding but for a wide range of uses and it’s done everything I’ve needed it to without any issues. Build quality There’s only one compartment in the bag and nothing to stop them moving around as you ride, which is another thing to consider if you’re carrying laptops or items like loose sheets of paper as they can end up shuffling around inside the bag.
