About this deal

The lost empire of Tartaria is the most delightful conspiracy theory. It posits that a technologically advanced civilization spanned Eurasia and perhaps parts of North America until as recently as a century ago, when it was erased from history. What’s left of Tartaria are ornate and seemingly out-of-place structures, from opulent churches in Russia to the Shanghai Bund. At this point I’d like to share the intro of Garry Hogg’s book With Peter Fleming in Tartary, it describes in great poetic detail the vast steppes of Asia and the Silk Road which ran through the lands that we are talking about now. My personal opinion on these conspiracy theories is that the history can easily be re-written by the use of genocides and oppressive dictatorships through the centuries, as Max Igan states on his video above, but conspiracy theorists are portraying wild, far-fetched ideas on this one, based on almost no actual facts.

Unless that’s the cover story and these were never cathedrals and churches to begin with, but rather the palaces of Tartaria? Kievan Rus’ (Greek: Ῥωσία); Latin: Rus(s)ia, Ruscia, Ruzzia) was a loose federation of East Slavic and Finnic people in Europe from the late 9th to the mid-13th century, under the reign of the Varangian Rurik dynasty. The modern nations of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine all claim Kievan Rus’ as their cultural ancestors, with Belarus and Russia deriving their names from it. Russia itself was ruled by the Rurikid dynasty until 16th century. The state began to decline in the late 11th century and during the 12th century, disintegrating into various rival regional powers. It was further weakened by economic factors, such as the collapse of Rus’ commercial ties to the Byzantine Empire due to the decline of Constantinople and the accompanying diminution of trade routes through its territory. The state finally fell to the Mongol invasion of the 1240s.If you know where I am going with this then the following paragraph or two will be a repeated dose. Skip ahead. See, we read about the first fallen women in the Book of Enoch. Divine-beings, which Hebrew Scripture calls the Watchers, took human wives and bore giant children with them. The disembodied spirits of those giants became the very demons whom Yahushua would cast out. The Watchers were sentenced to a prison term of seventy generations, by which time they were to be released upon the earth. I’ve done the math. Their probation likely occurred sometime in the mid or early 19 th century—beginning of the end days. This appears to have caused a human reset, and may in fact coincide with a worldwide mud flood event. When I talk about reset, I am inciting what has already provably happened in the Soviet Union a hundred years ago. The architects of Communism successfully rewrote history for those whom they beguiled. In the decades to follow, her citizens inhabited what psychologists have coined a false-memory syndrome, not quite unlike the Mandela Effect today. In the meantime, a race of beings have taken over what is left of the great Empire of Tartaria and murder all who oppose them. Adherents to the belief often point to images of windows "going into the ground" or windows that illuminate basement areas of old buildings as examples of the flood inundating what previously existed there. Sometimes excavations in old cities have revealed hidden levels to buildings The images below come from the first five minutes of a video on YouTube called, " Tartaria Mud Flood": History is an ever-changing field; we are constantly re-evaluating the past with fresh perspectives and changing our outlook as new evidence comes to light. To keep in step with individuals seeking to bend the historical fact to their own will, it is vital that we both recognise and formulate responses to the rising popularity of pseudohistory and its potential to harbour extreme perspectives . Did a once powerful and technologically advanced "Tartarian Empire" exist before being washed away or buried in a great "mud flood" that reset society? No, that's not true: There is no proof to support this claim. While the assertion has been widely circulated in alternative history and conspiracy theory circles, there is no historical or scientific evidence to support it.

This Flood was responsible for wiping them and most of their technological innovations out, leaving only remnants of their architecture. Racialised pseudohistorical perspectives that are presented as fact allow for far-right extremist and white supremacist ideas to infiltrate digital communities and mainstream online discourse. Social media is weaponised to spread a false history and thus imply a fundamentally different identity and a story of modern society in which white people are simultaneously victims and victorious. Those driving this discourse know their audience and craft messages with engagement in mind, using modern editing tools and meme formats to draw users in during the ongoing ‘infodemic’ . The Saltair was a resort on the Great Salt Lake of Utah that burned down in a fire in 1925. The former National Surgical Institute of Indianapolis, Indiana became the Imperial Hotel around the turn of the last century. Its domes and turrets were removed in the 1920s, when it became the Hotel Roosevelt. It was razed between 1945 and 1949 to make way for a parking lot. (Such incredible reasons for demolition are another red herring to Tartaria’s believers.) Our cities have greatly changed since the 1800s and early 1900s. Whenever ‘The Powers That Be’ had an opportunity they pulled down / demolished Old World buildings, especially in cities and large towns. They want us to forget the Old World buildings that we used to see everywhere we turned! Vermeulen, Han F. (2018). Before Boas: The Genesis of Ethnography and Ethnology in the German Enlightenment. Albany, NY: University of Nebraska. The use of "Tartary" declined as the region became more known to European geographers; however, the term was still used long into the 19th century. [5] Ethnographical data collected by Jesuit missionaries in China contributed to the replacement of " Chinese Tartary" with Manchuria in European geography by the early 18th century. [3] The voyages of Egor Meyendorff and Alexander von Humboldt into this region gave rise to the term Central Asia in the early 19th century as well as supplementary terms such as Inner Asia, [5] and Russian expansionism led to the term " Siberia" being coined for the Asian half of the Russian Empire. [4]

Another odd sight the theory of Tartaria explains is that of sumptuous public buildings seemingly appearing out of nowhere in the wilderness. Lutyens’ Delhi is one example. The American West has more. Elliott, Mark C. “The Limits of Tartary: Manchuria in Imperial and National Geographies.” The Journal of Asian Studies, vol. 59, no. 3, 2000, pp. 603–46, https://doi.org/10.2307/2658945. Others suspect World War II was really a war of all against Tartaria, and the destruction of old Berlin, Dresden, Warsaw and other cities in Central and Eastern Europe was a deliberate effort to wipe away the traces of a rival civilization. Berlin in 1920 Berlin in 1920 Dresden in the 1930s Warsaw in 1939 Buildings hundreds of years old and located all across the world are known to be encased in a mud flow up to several stories high and in some cases even completely engulfing buildings entirely in nothing but mud.

Civilizations in the current astrological age (the Age of Pisces) are shorter in height than civilizations that existed in the previous astrological age (the Age of Aries) and will be taller in height than civilizations that will exist in the next astrological age (the Age of Aquarius). The sand begins to lift up from the ground and rain falls down, like a flood and mixes with the sand. If you asked any Tartarian conspiracy theorists why there are no solid pieces of evidence of this lost city of Tartaria, they would all give you two answers, the Great Mud Flood and the Great Cover-Up. So, who would want to hide the existence of this technologically advanced race? But hold on! The other element of the so-called “great reset,” besides the global destruction caused by the mud flood, was the purposeful erasure of Tartarian history. Or at least, that’s what they claim. In fact, believers in Tartaria claim that most major armed conflicts of the 19th and 20th centuries were actually about Tartaria. They say Napoleon’s 1812 invasion of Russia was really a war against Tartaria, and that after the mud flood, the World Wars of the 20th century were all actually just excuses to destroy all remaining traces of Tartaria. What is their evidence of such a cover-up? Well, they too use Google Ngram, and they find it suspicious that use of the words “Tartaria” and “Tartary” plummet to nonexistent following the 19th century. But of course, we know why that is. It’s because we stopped using an inaccurate blanket term that was actually a pun suggesting they were from hell and instead started calling them Mongols or some other more accurate name. However, never let it be said that conspiracy speculators aren’t ingenious, for they managed in their blindly focused keyword searches to turn up an obscure declassified CIA report on “National Cultural Development under Communism.” In it, there exists a paragraph that is presented as smoking gun evidence of a cover-up of Tartaria’s history. It reads as follows:
