About this deal

lt;p>Milk chocolate with a malt filling (19%), chocolate filling (19%) and honeycombed pieces (3.4%).</p>

Celebrations bring together a selection of the most popular chocolates – and it’s no surprise that there’s a Maltesers representative in there. After many years of being only in the Celebrations, the Maltesers Teasers launched a solo career. It’s been a while since the chocolate laced with mini malty bits has been available in bigger forms, but it’s still just as exciting! The Maltesers Teasers Chocolate Bars offer the same thrill as the smaller versions found in Celebrations – in a welcome bigger portion! We all know what Maltesers are, don’t we? The light and delicious treats have been with us since 1937 and have gone on to become one of the most beloved members of the Mars family. The crunchy malted treats are in a league of their own and have are a something we all feel for every once in a while! Fairtrade accreditation in the UK and Ireland was given to the product in 2011 when the company sourced all its cocoa and sugar under its terms. It was only in 2017 when Maltesers became officially available in the United States.

You might find that there is a little bit of excess chocolate on the base of the truffles after they have set. Milk chocolate: this is what we use to coat the truffles in. As you can see from the photos, I use a chocolate layer with chocolate drizzled over the top.

Microwave the milk chocolate in a heatproof jug and use a fork to dip each truffle (one by one) into the chocolate. Hold the fork above the bowl, then move to the tray and use a skewer to get the ball off the fork. You can also tip the fork to get them off, however, you will see indents from where the fork was holding the truffle. A skewer at the base of the fork pushing the truffle off onto the baking paper will ensure smooth chocolate covered balls. Vanilla Biscuits: I use plain vanilla biscuits, Marie or Maria work well. Malt biscuits are fine too. We use these to create a crumb which we sprinkle on top of the truffles to decorate.

Once the truffles are rolled into balls, pop in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This is so that they don't fall apart in the melted chocolate. 🥰 Malteser Chocolate Balls If you prefer chocolate over malt, this one is going to work best for you. It will give you more bites. However, it is not as light as that of the Maltesers balls but you can be assured that it is going to give your sweet tooth a fix. Start by crushing the vanilla biscuits into a fine crumb. Then add the Maltesers to the food processor and blitz till roughly chopped up.

Maltesers Teasers Bar. It is only right to have a bar version of the originals, of course! This is a milky bar that comes with small bits of malt scattered. This is full of flavours too which is a good inclusion to the sweets that you like to indulge in from time to time. Sugar, Palm Fat, Skimmed MilkPowder, Cocoa Butter, BarleyMalt Extract, Cocoa Mass,Whey Permeate (from Milk), Full Cream MilkPowder, MilkFat, Demineralised Whey Powder (from Milk), Shea Fat, Lactose, Glucose Syrup, Emulsifier ( SoyaLecithin), WheatFlour, Salt, Raising Agents (E341, E500, E501), WheatGluten, Sweet Whey Powder (from Milk). As said, Maltesers were originally “energy balls” used in losing weight. Later on, they were claimed effective for weight loss. It is ideal to know the nutritional and calorie content of Maltesers so that you can determine how it helps in slimming down.Maltesers Cake. Chocolate and cake are quite hard to separate. Take advantage of this and use your favourite confectionary to add finishing touches on your cake. If you are into baking, you can find this quite useful. Use it for decoration, on whatever way you please! Maltesers Milkshake. Create a Malteser Milkshake for something unique and different. You can surely blend this to your perfection. One of the defining features of Maltesers is not only that they’re as moreish as anything can be, but that they’re so delightfully round. It’s a simple touch, but a thoroughly enjoyable one! The process of how they end up so round is a totally mesmerising one, too. Well, the malty centres are cooked in little balls which are then coated in chocolate using a technique called ‘panning’. This involves the centres being tumbled constantly in a pan as melted chocolate is added to coat them. Both the speed and the amount of chocolate has to be carefully monitored to make sure the Maltesers come out just the way we like them.
