To say I loved this book is an understatement, It has ripped my guts out shattered my heart had me biting my nails with anticipation and bawling like a baby all in one phenomenal read’Their relationship broke my heart. Brother and sister relationships are normally not that close. When you're a teen, you find you're brother/sister annoying as hell and you constantly fight. Not these two. They are as close as how two siblings who went through hell together could be. Joey and Shannon had some really deep talk that was heart wrenching. I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM. These three together are literally family goals. The way John & Edel kept supporting Johnny was nothing short but amazing. they're story is literally the same as Knight's and Luna's from Broken Knight but in my opinion, Claire and Gibise are way more adorable and loveable and i just know their story is gonna make me cry. I wished I could hold my own weight and not lean on my mother. I didn’t want her touch but I had nothing left inside of me.

Gibsie, first. Oh how I love Gibsie ! He's the best, made me laugh so hard, made me ship his relationship with Claire as much as the main couple, simply made me crazy about him. see, it wasnt bad initially. i was liking it a lot. johnnyshannon were cute and all and ofc there was my fave person- gibsie and i was feeling the possible 4-ish star energy so hard but- You can't scare me away." Multiple unnecessary conflicts happened at the end of the book, and situations where you just cannot justify what the characters were doing took place so we got those 'hints' for their books, and it really tested my patience.and Johnny's and Gibsie's (yes, I'm counting him), relationship with all of the brothers was so heartwarming to read. those kids was literally living in a nightmare for a looooong time and when Johnny supposedly "kidnapped" the baby brothers and took them to McDonalds and the park just because he knew they were all hungry was just so cute and adorable, my heart couldn't take it. and the scenes between Gibsie the manchild and the kids were one of the funniest things i've ever read.
