I've gone through tons of Z-coils, mainly the MTL ones. One of my favorite MTL drop-in coils. Flavor wise they are not the best, but they perform very well and have an amazing longevity, have used some coils for over 5 weeks and they were still performing on an acceptable level. Flavor from the MTL coils is proper, but as said not the best. I actually think this device performs better than the Zlide (my favorite MTL drop-in coil), simply because of the extremely tight airflow capabilities on the Kroma Z pod. Don't take long draws or vaping with very short intervals between two drags. Each puff time shall be 4 seconds at most. If you are looking for a kit to help you quit smoking, you won't find a better kit or deal than this. Please try to vape at an appropriately high wattage which is recommended on the coil during vaping. It may encounter the leaking issue if the liquid on the coil hasn't been atomized on time with low wattage.

It feels proper, it works very well, and it looks just great, nothing to complain about this device to be honest. The 3000mAh battery is amazing and being able to get almost 600 puffs on an MTL coil before having to charge is impressive. It’s not exactly exciting to hold, but its functional, practical and is to the standard we expect from Innokin – even though its a pod mod. How To fill the Innokin Kroma-ZThe resistance of an atomizer coil is the amount of heat produced by the coil based on the battery voltage and wattage setting. The coil resistance should be printed on the side of the coil. Higher resistance coils tend to require less wattage, and low resistance “sub-ohm” (>0.9ohm) coils tend to require more wattage to produce vapor. Use a certified wall charger with a high quality USB-C cable. Monitor the device and verify that it is charging. Wait until the device is fully charged. Note: All batteries have a limited number of full charge cycles. A battery capacity may decrease based on charging and use over time. Note: Make sure that the device’s battery always has some amount of charge/power. Do not store a device with an empty battery as it may damage the overall lifespan of the battery. The device that will be right for you is the one that meets your needs more. If you just want the ease of use, simplicity but still with a sleek and stylish device, the option for the pod or a tank and prefer an internal battery. Then the Kroma- Z is the perfect device for you. So onto the ZF 0.3ohm coil which had a narrower range of 30-45 watts, starting at 30 watts and it was obvious that this was going to favour RDL and gave a bit more flavour, with the airflow closed even more I could go down as far as 20 watts and still get a decent RDL vape, more surprisingly I could even get a MTL draw but the 810 drip-tip made this impractical. Increasing the wattage to the max 45 watts was far better than I had expected and wasn’t far off the 0.3ohm coils performance which made it a pretty good alternative if you want less juice consumption and a longer battery life. Tighten up your airflow. On the 1.2ohm coil especially, if the airflow is set closer to the "RDL" section, this will result in spotty auto-draw functionality.

I had a couple of niggles that didn’t really affect me once I got used to them, the battery bar icon is accurate enough that I didn’t get caught short and the TPD plastic isn’t a design problem (just those bullies at TPD) and can be easily remedied. Final Thoughts The new Kroma-Z Pod Mod is fully compatible with the entire Z-Coil line, making it desirable for vapers who have come to love the Zenith, Zenith Pro, and Zlide tanks.Woohoo it has airflow adjustment! And not just that! In the kit you get two airflow rings which you screw onto the base of the pod to fasten the coil. One airflow ring has 6 rather large openings for RDL vaping and one of them has just this one tiny hole which is meant fir MTL. This is so far the best pod-mod airflow wise, because both loose DTL and VERY tight MTL are possible. Love this airflow for MTL and it just fits the Z-Coil line perfectly, even with the outer airflow wide-open and the MTL ring attached it is already tight. Also, with the RDL ring you can get a tight MTL draw with the airflow closed. Airflow sounds smooth for the most part, just only with the DTL-ring it whistles when closing it down further than half. Only use Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in devices that have a built in protection circuit board(PCB) that detect shorts, over-discharge, over-charging etc. Use of lithium ion batteries without a PCB may increase your risk or explosion and,or fire. At the top if a 510 fitment and the Innokin Kroma-Z comes with a nice array of drip-tips which are designed for DTL, RDL or MTL so you have every option you could want. Nicely done. A cleverly done fire button which in effect is part of the display panel and which you can fire from anywhere from the top of the display, to the top of the panel meaning there is quite a large area which will fire the device.

Just like on the R, the fire-button is integrated in the top of the screen making it a very comfortable fire with either thumb or index finger. Also, it can be fired with the joint of the thumb, which I like most. The Kroma-R is great for big cloud DTL vaping with the Ajax tank or enjoys intense MTL flavors with the full line of Z-coils and Platform series tanks. I love the Kroma Z, so much so I now have 4. Very minimal leaking but that’s usually a sign it’s time for a new coil. You’ll need to replace the cord before you need to replace the device lolMake sure coil bottom capes are clamped all the way down and make sure air holes are closed when refilling. Much like the original Kroma-A, the Innokin Kroma-Z has an internal battery, but this time they’ve increased it to 3000mAh.

In fact its quite lightweight but certainly feels well constructed and very comfortable to hold as either a thumb, or finger firer. I could get all technical but there are MTL users who want that much ‘ precision‘– so I wont go there. Vape While Charging is a feature commonly seen in our mods that allows you to vape while you are charging your device. Be advised that while this feature can be convenient, it’s not recommend to vape while charging a device that is extremely low on battery life. Wait until your battery indicator on the screen indicates at least a 40% partial charge before you use this feature. If you Vape While Charging when the battery indicator on the screen shows a low overall charge, you will damage the overall lifespan of the battery. They aren’t as in-your-face as some other brands because they don’t pump out products at a crazy pace, but they’ve been around for a long time and have been known to make great products—especially aimed towards beginners.
