Alongside Directions Hair Dye we also have a whole range of complimenting products including shampoo's, conditioner, colour and lightening kits and even a very successful tattoo aftercare balm. For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer's instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed.
Dark Tulip
A twist on tulip: this darker colour gives hair a rich, wine-like shine. With deep shades of purple and red, it’s perfect for those who want coverage on almost any base. Directions Tulip is a bright pinkish purple hair dye with hint of red. Tulip can add a subtle tint on natural hair , but works best on bleached hair. This colour is brighter and more vivid than dark tulip but it not super bright like Flamingo. Please Note: For vibrant results the colour should be used on bleached or pre lightened hair, or can be used on untreated hair to achieve a subtle tint.
Touch up as needed: As the colour fades, touch up your hair with more Directions hair dye to help maintain the vibrancy of the colour.

Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Always try a strand & sensitivity test prior to use. Use Sulphate-free shampoo: Sulphates can strip the hair of its natural oils and cause the colour to fade faster. Use a sulphate-free shampoo to help preserve the colour! Use gloves: Directions hair dye can stain your skin, so be sure to wear gloves when applying the dye.
