There fact it is split over 3 floors made it better for a group of 8 with 4 kids as the kids had plenty of space. Services - Mains water, drainage and electricity are connected to the property. St Andrews is around 20 minutes by car and Edinburgh just over an hour, making the East Neuk a great base for exploring. There is a vibrant food, drink, arts and music scene locally with many great restaurants, cafes and producers as well as exhibitions, markets and festivals throughout the year. Located between Crail and Cellardyke, a private road leads towards the sea and to the traditional row of farm cottages. Entering the cottage you will first come into the bright conservatory sitting room which has the first of the incredible views. This leads through to the spacious dining kitchen with the dining table positioned by the window so you can watch the highland cows whilst you enjoy breakfast. The sunny porch is the perfect spot to sit with a book and the sun streaming through and provides another entrance to the cottage. The sitting room offers another relaxing space to get together, chat or watch your favourite shows. A modern shower room with walk in shower completes the ground floor. The location is close to a huge sandy beach with views from the cottage across the fields to the sea. It’s a lovely place to spend time.. Ground Floor: We had a fantastic stay at Clover Cottage, it is very well equipped, spacious, comfortable and warm." Only one was fitted which was useless as it was unsafe and none on the second flight of stairs . This isn’t a child friendly place to stay and wouldn’t recommend to families with small children. There isn’t a phone signal and the WiFi is rubbish. Nice quiet area, but plenty of nice places to visit within 30 to 60 mins. Made to feel very welcome and would certainly recommend. Also touched by the thoughtful goods left, milk, bacon, eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits Just a 30-minute stroll along the South Coast Pathway, past the Marinas and a couple of well-known pubs and restaurants, is the Mount Batten ferry which takes you straight over to The Barbican in the port City of Plymouth.The window seat in the sitting room makes a lovely spot to enjoy a good book or to just relax and watch the ever-changing views across the lake.
Clover Cottage is an ideal starting point for a trip for two across the Lake District National Park, owing to its close proximity to many local amenities and must-see sights and attractions. North Uist is an amazing place for a holiday, not least because you are still in the UK but get the sense of being on another planet! It truly is life on the edge with the influence of the north Atlantic only yards away. North Uist is joined by causeway to many other Hebridean islands, including Berneray, Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay. Harris & Lewis are only a short ferry ride away. Cross the threshold and head straight into the light and airy open-plan living space to unwind in front of the warming glow of the woodburning stove and Smart TV while the designated chef of the group gets acquainted with the fully-equipped kitchen. En-Suite - 2.77m x 1.17m (9'1 x 3'10) - Fitted with a toilet and wash basin set in a vanity unit with concealed cistern and a storage cabinet. The bathroom has a ‘P’ shaped bath with a shower over so you can relax in a bubble bath or take a refreshing shower.
