Wavestorm behaves more like a solid board than an inflatable. If you get used to it, you will probably not want to go for an inflatable later. It is a very cost-effective way to get into things like surfing and yoga where the added rigidity will pay off in your experience. I’d say the best performance was the stand-out quality of the Performer 11. I mean who could have expected that? It’s in the name for crying out loud! Now, this wasn’t a fast board, I wouldn’t say that the acceleration was something to marvel at either. And of course, I’ve got to mention the GoPro mount. There won’t be a need for a fin box. What I mean is that the fin setup of this paddleboard is fixed. The fins are not detachable and you have to work with what you’re given. The board is missing grab handles on the front and tail of the board (for carrying with two people, pulling ashore, loading up gear, etc.) This isn’t a deal-breaker, but I personally would much rather have grab handles than the plastic tow-point Body Glove included.
