About this deal

Natural car waxes tend to last for a good six to eight weeks, while synthetic waxes and sealants can last longer – often for over three months. Don’t expect them to look as good, though. However, Aqua Wax does have its limitations. It’s not a polish, so can’t remove scratches, swirls or improve the appearance of dull/faded paintwork. Dedicated polishes are needed in these situations. Pros Aqua Wax is not a polish, so will not remove or improve the appearance of scratches, swirls or dull paint. Features & Benefits:

The best car waxes in 2023

The thing is with wax is to ensure the car is really clean before you apply it, to that end I clay bar the entire car every 4 months, you'll be amazed the amount of carp it gets off and leaves a truly clean and smooth surface ready for wax..

We get a lot of questions asking what is the difference between Rapid Ceramic Spray and Rapid Aqua Wax. Both are excellent products and have their fair share of fans, but which one is best for you? In this blog post we are going to answer that very question so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. We’ll start off with a brief look at each product. The application is also slightly different. The first time it is applied, it is done on a wet car. The ceramic wax is buffed off and the car is dried. Subsequent applications of the wax can be sprayed on, and then rinsed off. This is actually a nice and easy process. Following these steps will extend the lifespan of the Ceramic Wax. Got some Polar Seal yesterday from a local Halfords and used it this morning. I used the recommended 4 capfuls and 200ml of water in the lance and it just ran out before I finished covering the car so next time I’ll add 225ml of water. I didn’t expect there to be a scent but as I was spraying it over the bodywork, the smell was very pleasant. Immediately upon the PS hitting the panels you could see the coating was very hydrophobic, when rinsing off the beading of water was some of the best I have seen, leaving a very glossy finish too. On the bottle it says do not apply more than once a month, if that water behaviour and protection continues for anywhere near a month then I think Autoglym have nailed it. Keeping your car’s paintwork in prime condition requires a combination of regular washing and waxing – although the latter is often put off due to time constraints.

Aqua Wax is specially formulated to impart a brilliant smear-free finish on ALL exterior surfaces, even when the vehicle is wet. The immediate benefit is that there is no need to dry the car between washing and polishing. Synthetic wax is also referred to as paint sealant. Making use of synthetic polymers that bond with your car’s paint to create a tough layer of protection. They can last up to 12 months but won’t offer the same shine as carnauba wax.

Turtle Wax are industry leaders when it comes to car protection. They have in the past had a bit of a reputation for having products which weren’t particularly long lasting. This was changed with the release of their Hydrid Wax. In short, this is brilliant! Also used the Instadry for the first time, that is a fantastic product also. I didn’t expect it to be as small as it was but it dried a large saloon with only a few wrings out in between. It seemed to glide across the paintwork and soak up water really well. Finally, it's Muc Off Tyre Foam for the tyres, available from Wilko's ( muc-off.com/products/tyre-foam). A long lasting deep satin shine for the tyres. Wax acts as a protectant to your paint. If you've ever been gifted some artisan waxed cheese you'll be familiar with the protective qualities of a wax casing; it'll protect the cheese from water, sun and other contaminants. Car wax works the same but on a much larger scale and the layer it forms is invisible. A good car was won't wear off easily and will protect your paint from heat, UV rays, water and other contaminants. Some of the more expensive waxes will also provide a nice deep shine.Add a few drops of wax to a microfibre cloth or pad and apply it to your car by working your way over the body panels in small, overlapping circular motions. That way, you get an even and full coating on your car. div>
