About this deal

Enhanced control panel with recessed design, additional navigation buttons, and a revised On/Off switch The on/off switch at the side has been changed. The original AD200 switch was not easy to find if you don't know what you are looking for. I've had assistants who have never used the AD200 be unable to find it. The Pro switch feels a bit better and more obvious. It's a small improvement but hardly groundbreaking.

Built-in R2 2.4G wireless radio TTL system. Fully supports Canon ETTL II, Nikon iTTL, Sony TTL, Fujifilm, Pentax, and Panasonic/Olympus operating on the R2 2.4G wireless family TTL system. Camera signals are automatically sensed and switch systems without user intervention. All R2 Family radio transmitted functions are received for over 330 feet from any R2 transmitter. The R2 TTL Wireless Flash System is the advanced 2.4GHz radio remote that adds camera TTL dedicated custom functions to your multi-flash experience. Easy to use buttons command a full range of functions like reliable channel triggering, group mode selectivity, HSS, with powerful signal strength and exceptional stability to your selected camera flash language. The LCD panel clearly displays the status of all remote R2 compliant strobes, so you always have control of group lighting setup. R2 wireless communication gives a speed of light response to on camera or off camera R2 family devices for a spectacular advantage on the shoot in any environment.

The battery is lithium and large, capable of producing an awesome 500 full power flashes! On the downside, the on/off switch is oddly placed and can be difficult to see/find in dark environments as it blends into the body … it’s almost camouflaged. Versatility

Here is why I can’t live without the Godox AD200, now that I have had it in my possession for a full year: Mylio Photos – Access your photos from anywhere, without the cloud! Easily showcase your photos on-the-go, resolve duplicates, find faces and look for those stunning locations. The AD 200 Pro is 15% better when it comes to recycling times, with a full-power recycle time of 1.8 seconds, allowing for faster shooting. This would prove useful when it comes to shooting big events. USB C for firmware updates

Godox AD200PRO Overview

The One System allows you to communicate with our PIXAPRO flashes built-in receivers and control them all from one trigger. The 2.4GHz system will give you full functionality, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus & Pentax Sync options. Use R2 wireless radio, trigger as slave optically, or with a standard 3.5mm sync cord connected to your camera. The second generation of this sleek and versatile strobe, the AD200Pro has a series of enhancements over its predecessor: There! If you are a stats nerd then fill your boots! 🙂 Suffice to say it pretty much has all the features you'd expect from a modern flash and some you'll probably never use. Interface Godox’s AD series, perhaps most notable for that aforementioned AD200, spans quite a range. The AD200, at 200Ws, features a much sleeker form-factor than the larger monolight style lights, like the AD300 or AD600, capable of 300 and 600Ws respectively. As you might guess from the name, the AD100Pro fits in below the AD200 in output, with an output of about 100Ws (more on why that isn’t the whole story in a minute).
