About this deal

I give this book 3 stars mostly because of Sophy. I read this book like 3 years ago and then I forgot about it. But one scene has been kept on my mind all the time: when Sophy drugs Julian when he wanted to consummate their marriage. I found that scene very witty, and Julian totally deserved that. I didn't remember the title of the book nor the author, so I posted that particular scene in What is the Name of that Book group, and after 2 weeks or so, I got the answer (thank you Lauren!) Escaping from a disastrous marriage, Amanda Dalton seeks a chance to heal her troubled mind at Dalton Manor, the rambling Victorian mansion recently inherited from her aunt. Her new home seems the perfect place to recuperate, but the house has a secret or two of its own. A mysterious couple comes to call--a beautiful man and woman who share their passion and encourage Amanda to explore her deepest sexual fantasies. But who are they? Where have they come from? Why won’t they tell her their names? To my surprise, Dante didn't do anything the first several days of the following week. I almost thought he'd forgotten, but finally that Thursday, he made a move--and I caught it all live. the handling of the hero wanting sex, boy howdy am I used to that from boys my age, and how it made the heroine uncomfortable to be pressured after one week's acquaintance

Strangely, I found myself believing Dante's claim that he'd only gone so far with Amanda to help me--would Amanda still put off sleeping with me if she'd slept with Dante first? Amanda was filming auditions for the second series of Britain's Got Talent when an audience member spoke out and told the Daily Star: "The three judges were having a joke with the warm-up host who comes out before the acts to get the crowd going. He started flirting with Amanda and having a bit of banter, when out of the blue she admitted Les used to do his Mavis impression for her in bed. As I lay in bed, swimming in my thoughts, I decided to delay saying anything to Amanda a bit longer. I needed to see how she was that morning first. And how she was around Dante. Hell, I still hadn't decided how I felt about Dante. One thing at a time. Although my anxiety had faded, another emotion remained: jealousy. I realized the irony of it all, but it was a fact: I was extremely jealous of Dante. READ MORE Our Yorkshire Farm fans say 'there's bound to be problems' as Amanda Owen and Clive reuniteLo que me pareció peculiar fue la relación romántica que hay entre la tía de Ravenwood Lady Fanny y Harritte su mejor amiga, fue tratado por encima y discretamente esta relación de pareja, pero no paso desapercibida ante mis ojos, por demás está decir que lo del anillo negro y la secta secreta no me gusto para nada, me pareció que carece de sentido en la historia pues aferrarse a buscar a alguien que no mato directamente a la hermana de Sophy pues esta se enveneno por decisión propia, sigo sin entender a donde quería llegar esa parte de la historia. Hope you slept well. I'm on my way out--got a few clients lined up--so you lovebirds will have the apartment to yourselves in just a minute. If you're smart, you'll take advantage," Dante winked at us. The female lead is amazing. Bright and high spirited, her actions in the book are quite something. I would go into detail but I would spoil the book and that would be such a pity, she is so surprising and her actions keep being unexpected throughout the book.

Amanda seemed startled by Dante's sudden engagement. She stammered for a second before she found her words again. "Um, I don't think that's a good idea, Dante." Oh, hey, Amanda," Dante said, leaping from the couch and casually stepping in front of her. "I've been meaning to ask. You're due for your massage this week, and I'm free tomorrow evening. Shall I put you down for it?" Yeah, among other things," Amanda replied curtly. "We really don't have to talk about this, though. Just let Dan take my weeks moving forward." Our hero is the widowed Earl of Ravenwood, who wants a docile broodmare. Taking pity at the plain looking country bred heroine, he proposes a marriage and expects the spinster to jump at the chance- because who else would marry her! She refuses, and his ego is hurt. He then accosts her path, and convinces her to to say yes by agreeing to her demands. But the book has him violating every single one of her requests. He not only refuses to wait three months for seduction, but also take her to London, dictates her reading and eventually gets her with a babe without much wait. The morning was uneventful. Amanda rose shortly after me, and we spent a lazy Sunday morning together, like we often did. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary... other than Dante staying shut up inside his room. Lately he'd been more social with Amanda and me, so it was unusual that he didn't join us as the morning hours progressed. I almost began to wonder if he'd somehow left the apartment without me noticing, but around noon, Dante finally emerged. That said, I wasn't an idiot. I knew Dante was attracted to Amanda and enjoyed 'experiencing' her. But still... I don't think he would have done it if he thought it wouldn't have helped me too. Morning," Amanda and I responded in unison. I glanced at Amanda, hoping for a clue about her feelings towards Dante the morning-after. Unfortunately, her expression gave nothing away... although she did place one of her hands affectionally on my shoulder. Just a coincidence or was she signaling her attachment to me?
