However, now I see that they have some strong points. I like Georgia's colour pallette, as well as many of the other characters. They have intricate anime-like eyes. It seems the body is pretty good. I'm reviewing a second Rainbow High doll in this post because it's always nice to look at two examples from a certain doll line, just to make sure any flaws or highlights aren't flukes. I chose one of the newest dolls I could find for this addendum because I figured there'd be some interest in her, and also because she's presumably a good representation of the current level of quality.Rainbow High was designed by Michael Anderson. It first launched in late July 2020, and at the time were only at Target. They are now available in other stores. The first release was of the 6 main characters, making up Series 1. This release set the standard of having 6 characters being introduced in a series, with any additional ones being either parts of playsets like Amaya Raine and Avery Styles in Series 1, or special edition like Kia Hart. Vanessa's mild cross-eyed appearance is a side effect of her face mold, the other two with the same mold also seem to have the issue (Emi Vanda specifically) and while the eyes can be manipulated with some heat, I don't know that it would help. Price point: Big brand toys are manufactured with the knowledge there has to be something available for every wallet. Price points are set store prices (with a small range each) which serve as a guiding point for the manufacturer in deciding how to finance the design a particular new toy. Lower price points correspond to "budget" toys and, high price points to "deluxe" toys, but are more specific as to how budget or deluxe a certain toy is. I've had I think two of my 60+ dolls actually be significantly flawed - and one of them was just her head was loose, which I fixed myself since I know how. "Covert racism is a form of racial discrimination that is disguised and subtle, rather than public or obvious. Concealed in the fabric of society, covert racism discriminates against individuals through often evasive or seemingly passive methods." (wikipedia.com) Now you might be wondering what I'm talking about, how does this even relate to a web series? Well, I will be answering that question. In some episodes, the credits list her last name as “Forte” instead of Tempo. “Forte” is a reference to musical notes.
