A woman fully realised is fully equipped, and boy, oh, boy is Auren transforming into a woman that devastates kingdoms and bring men to their knees. I cannot wait for the next book Glow. BURN THIS SHIT DOWN AUREN!!! However, owing to Midas’ saving and gold-turning hand, Auren turns golden all around, except for her teeth and eyes.

Glint has the mysterious, dark, hot fae commander, who has a group of friends who are the best warriors in the whole realm. And their chosen family makes you feel things and smile like a fool. And Auren’s character development is so similar to the other female protagonists in those other books (points and Feyre and Poppy.) A bit better than the first book, because Auren is not in the palace anymore, there are other interesting side characters, less Midas and more Commander Rip, but Auren was still too annoying for me to really enjoy it. But the end made me feel invested so let's hope Gleam is not a letdown. 🤞 I would also say GOLD serves as the perfect penultimate book before the final one titled GOLDFINCH. I am glad Raven decided to divide the final book into two and this book makes it clear why the finale should not be rushed.
