About this deal

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has support for Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band WiFi, FM Radio, 4G LTE, and more. There is no 5G, so the device is not future ready and even the WiFi is not stable as it got disconnected on its own quite a few times.

The only real difference is in the displays. Moto G52 has a 90Hz POLED display, Moto G42 has a 60Hz AMOLED display and Moto G32 has a 90Hz LCD display. The rest of the features remain the same. All three phones are powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC, come with the same camera setup and also battery sizes remain the same. Motorola is powering the Play with MediaTek's Helio G37 chipset with 3 gigabytes of RAM, which is the same processor it used in last year's Moto G Power 2022. I detested it when I tried it because it was markedly slower than the prior model, so it's not much of a surprise to see the new Play performing in a similarly frustrating manner.

Coming to the software, like all recent G Series devices the G32 is also driven by Android 12 out of the box. The company gives Android 12 with My UX skin on top and thus it gives a clean UI experience free of adware and bloatware. During the time of setting up, it asks about installing apps like Josh and Moj, but you can easily deny this and stop these apps from loading onto your system. There are options for customization and personalization as well. Android 13 update has also been promised on the G32 device. Motorola could have at least switched the SoCs for the phones. But there is a different way to look at this, by launching similar phones with minimal difference, the brand is brining down the features from a segment above to a lower segment. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with 8 cores and a boost frequency of 2.4GHz, the Moto G32 delivers snappy and efficient performance, capable of handling a wide range of tasks. Whether you're browsing the web, streaming videos, or playing games, the phone runs smoothly and with little lag. On the head, edges, and chin of the phone’s front are thin bezels, while the bottom bezel is broader. On the top of the screen is a selfie camera.

The 2MP Macro lens does not support much of a purpose as it gives hardly any use. The images have no details and are sometimes blurry as well. It is better to not use this lens unless needed for extreme close-up shots. The edge detection is weak as well. A 20:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ resolution of 1,080 by 2,400 pixels are present on its 6.5-inch LCD display. The screen refreshes at a speed of 90Hz, and touch input occurs at a rate of 180Hz. During our testing, we did not observe any scratches on the screen because it is additionally protected by Panda Glass 3. The Motorola Moto G32 is a sleek and modern smartphone that is available in Satin Silver. It features a large 6.5" LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 405ppi. Additionally, the screen is flat and has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz, making it ideal for smooth scrolling and gaming. Additionally, the Moto G32 has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance, so external protection is also taken care of.

A 33W fast charger is included with the Moto G32, which has a 5,000mAh battery. We had a good battery life with the device—more than a day and a half. Additionally, it took the phone longer than 1 hour and 5 minutes to charge completely. Verdict We ran the Moto G32 through some synthetic benchmarks, and the device was able to register a score of 2,38,447 in Antutu 9, which is average. It was able to churn out a score of 369 and 1439 on single-core and multi-core tests on Geekbench 5, which is decent. Gaming is not a selling point for the Moto G32, but rest assured, light gaming on the device is very much possible. Besides, the Motorola Moto G32 runs Android v12 operating system and houses a decent 5000 mAh battery that lets you use it for hours on end while watching movies, listening to songs, playing games and doing other stuff without worrying about charging it frequently..

We found this very useful and time-saving. Finally, Multi-volume lets you control individual levels of each app. These additional features can be enabled from the settings. Motorola has also laid down a bunch of tutorials across the UI, which is a nice touch. We believe My UX is one of the best renditions of the Android experience, and that’s what sets this device apart from its competitors. The mobile paves the way for crystal clear visuals as it comes with a 6.55 inches (16.64 cm) display that has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 Pixels.. Various connectivity options on the Motorola Moto G32 include WiFi - 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz | 5 GHz), Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth - v5.2, and 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G. Also, the handset is a treat to use as the sensors on the Motorola Moto G32 include Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, SAR Sensor, Gyroscope, Sensor Hub, E-Compass.The 8MP ultrawide camera, on the other hand, covers a good field of view but the images have very little detailing and a lot of noise. There was distortion at the edges and the colors were washed out. The 2-megapixel macro lens, on the other hand, is rarely useful because you have to work very hard to capture clear pictures even in decent lighting. Portraits Moreover, the Moto G32 is IP52 rated for water and dust resistance so the external protection department is also covered. If you can stand that sluggishness, then you might not find too much fault with the rest of the hardware. The 6.5-inch 720p screen doesn’t look too pixelated and has been fine to stare at for most tasks, though it can be hard to read when it’s bright out. There’s a 90-Hz screen refresh rate, but I’m not even going to bother counting this as a positive—the phone isn't really powerful enough to consistently deliver the “smooth” experience you’re supposed to get with a high refresh rate.
