About this deal

When purchasing a cement mixer, it’s important to think about where you’re going to store it. Some mixers are specifically designed for compact storage, whilst others are very bulky so will be harder to store unless you have a lot of space available. To use, simply switch the machine on and allow the 550 W motor to do its job. This machine can be plugged into the mains so there’s no need for a transformer. The volume capacity refers to the volume of the whole drum. Naturally, not all of this will be usable space when mixing.

Actually, our concrete mixer price is more competitive and cost-effective than others. Because we have our own factory and engineer. Manufacturing it by ourselves can lower the cost. Therefore, we always keep the price highly affordable. For small, household DIY projects, you’ll want a cement mixer with a mixing capacity of around 45 – 90 L. For reference, a 90 L mixing capacity will give you a full barrow-load of cement/mortar. Be aware that the power cord is reasonably short at 1.7 m. For those looking to redo an area at the end of their garden, an extension cable will be needed.

Choosing the Right Capacity

While this concrete mixer weighs 45.5 kg, it’s fairly manoeuvrable thanks to the two wheels, although it can struggle over uneven ground so is best wheeled over flat areas.

Whilst some machines come with a frame that is integral to the mixer, others can be lifted on and off the stand as required. This can help with storage, as it allows the mixer to be divided into two pieces. However, some people may struggle to lift the heavy body of the mixer onto the frame by themselves.

Minimix Manuals

Petrol mixers can be used anywhere and don’t need to be used near a power source– this is why they’re commonly used in professional settings. They tend to be more powerful than electric versions – which may well be unnecessary for standard DIY. Also, not only is this machine lightweight, it’s also supported by two puncture-proof wheels which give more stability across a range of surfaces. It’s also easy to move around, as it’s one of the lightest cement mixers featured here, weighing 30 kg.

For the most part, assembly is fairly simple; the instructions are illustrated and reasonably clear. The main issue that can occur during assembly is knowing which way round to fix the paddles (which can cause confusion with a lot of cement mixers).
