Warner’s Distillery creates a wide range of different kinds of gin and 0% gins. Aside from their London Dry and Harrington Dry, some standout flavored gins are Honeybee gin and Rhubarb gin.

This double-up of two different kinds of lemon creates a long lemon zing that is incredibly refreshing.We usually try to do our tasting in a fun setting, because most gin is drunk in a group or as part of a celebration or night out. A clinical testing environment may not provide you with the right type of review and in the right frame of mind to take in the many flavours. Flavored gins are becoming more and more popular every day for the last few years. A few very popular flavored gins are for instance blood orange gins, pink gins, and violet gins. It’s safe to say that the English Drinks Company has quite the experience in distilling flavored gins and it shows!

Ranging from their ‘The original’ gin to other more unique gins like Rhubarb & Ginger, Blood Orange, Pink Grapefruit, and of course their Lemongrass & Ginger gin. Malfy Gin is made using vacuum distillation, which is also called cold distillation. This uses a lower temperature and is how we keep our botanicals fresh and flavourful. It is a newer gin technique that is aimed at retaining as much flavour in the gins versus a more traditional method that breakdowns the botanicals. The alcohol review The gin is a premium Italian gin, which might not be the first place you associate with the new wave of gins taking over the world. We were excited to try it because it isn’t something that we’re that familiar with. It is distilled at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, Italy. Their base gin, the Chesterfield London Dry gin is a wonderfully smooth gin with great hints of piney juniper.

GIN ROSA GINTONICA

Distillers Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni make each of the gins under the Malfy brand in their stainless steel vacuum still. Malfy Originale is a straightforward and traditional approach to gin, featuring a scant six botanicals, all of them common in 19th century London Dry gins. Tasting Notes The Lemon Drizzle variation to their London dry gin gets an added layer of sweet, sun-dried lemon peels to the base gin. Malfy’s lemon gin and their grapefruit gin are considered to be one of the best, if not the best, lemon and grapefruit gins on the market right now. These go accompanied by some zesty refreshing citrus notes and hints of red fruit making for a bit sweeter version of the Sicilian Lemon gin. LoneWolf and Brewdog have partnered up a few times already for a few other gins, and they are absolutely great!

As you may have noticed, they use a ton of different lemon parts to really capture the lemon flavors as much as possible.On the bright side, the color is literally so bright that even a quarter ounce can turn your average Martini into a vivid, unusual hue.
