The result: even with active cooling on the first few layers, I was able to successfully increase the print bed adhesion through Magigoo to the point where I was able to print this Infinity Cube ( link to object) without issue. Without Magigoo, of course, there was massive warping and a failure of adhesion and resulting misprint.

Nonetheless in the majority of cases most CPE materials will benefit from using slightly higher build-plate temperatures when using Magigoo Original. 6. From where can I buy Magigoo?Filament dryers are machines that are meant for filament drying. Most of the times, they are specifically designed for that purpose. Sometimes, they are adapted from other machines, such as the food dehydrators mentioned earlier. They come in all shapes and sizes but typically all involve some dial or touch screen, to set the temperature and a space for the filament spool to fit in. There are various types of dryers which use different methods to dry the filament. Some dryers work alongside the printer, allowing the filament to enter and be used in the printer as it is drying. Filament dryers can offer a more reliable and tailored drying experience. Printing with wet filament may also present visual differences in the extruded filament and printed parts. The filament will be more prone to stringing, and may have a slightly bleached colour. The final print often also has a softer texture than a print with dry filament. In some cases vigorous shaking can trap bubbles in the adhesive. If you wish to avoid air bubbles whilst applying Magigoo wait for a few seconds for the trapped air bubbles to dissipate before applying. What if I want a smoother Magigoo application? Smooth it out with the applicator Excellent layer adhesion: Parts printed in PP tend to have very good layer adhesion and are rarely prone to layer splitting In cases where you want to smoothen the application further you can do this using a slightly damp (plain water) paper towel or microfiber cloth. This was suggested by some of our users and works well after some practice. Dilute with some water before spreading It is best to clean Magigoo right after the part is removed for a reliable and hassle free printing experience. Since the combination of PLA and a glass print bed is very common, I compared the print bed adhesion with and without Magigoo.Once the temperature at which testing will start is determined, let’s call this T0, one can print a test print at this temperature, wait for it to finish (if it finishes) and measure the warp at each end or corner of the print. If the print does not succeed, the point at which the print became completely detached from the build plate can be used as a data point (Figure 5).
