About this deal

In Zone 1, we are introduced to the blue light motif that invokes not just spaceships but also thoughts of the night sky. Indeed, the room is rather dark, occasionally making it difficult to see details on the Yoruba bowl sculpted by Olowe of Ise or the Dogon stool on display. At the same time, the room’s lighting and ethereal music create an atmosphere that feels foundationally Afrofuturist. I wrote my Ph.D. dissertation with musician Janelle Monáe’s Afrofuturist-inspired albums Metropolis: The Chase Suite and The ArchAndroid on repeat, and hearing her intone “You’re free, but in your mind / your freedom’s in a bind” as I walked through the exhibition told me that I was at the beginning of an important journey through Afrofuturism.

Rave glasses are awesome for: Depending on what you want to get out of your Diffraction Glasses, certain pairs will be more suitable. Some people enjoy a softer effect to wear during the day and for long-term use, many of our customers look for the more intense effects created by multiple layers of grating materials or multiple lenses.

Diffraction Glasses (Not to be confused with Kaleidoscope Glasses) are the essential new visual accessory designed to enhance raves, concerts, festivals and firework shows. Traditional kaleidoscopes are optical instruments, or tubes, that have at least two mirrors inside them. Objects like pieces of colored glass are placed at one end of the tube, and the other end has an eyehole. The mirrors are positioned in such a way that they produce interesting, symmetrical patterns when the tube is rotated. Migraine headaches, particularly migraine with aura, can cause kaleidoscope vision. If you get these types of migraines, you may be familiar with aura, which precedes the headache. This can occur even without the actual headache. Clear lens Diffraction Glasses offer the purest and cleanest diffraction effects, a splendid choice for day or night time use.We are proud to offer a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all GloFX Glasses with the small exception of our Luminescence, Paper, Kaleidoscope Series, and Goggles. The lenses are made up of many facets that duplicate the light waves being emitted around the wearer. They turn the lights into repeating patterns. There are a variety of facet patterns available that can produce different visual effects, and some come in rainbow colors, which can add even more to the experience. Your retina has photoreceptors that change light into electrical signals that your brain processes into images. Conditions that affect your retina and may cause kaleidoscope vision include:
