About this deal

In addition to its stellar COSM amp models and effects, the ME-70 is outfitted with a new COSM Preamp section derived from BOSS’s GT-10 and Legend series. With the ME-70 you can dial up a world of tone, from classic to cutting-edge, and with simplicity and speed. Stompbox Ease AC Adaptor (BOSS PSA series: sold separately) Current Draw 130 mA Expected battery life under continuous use Alkaline: 12 hours A multi-effects unit that's as easy as a stompbox? that's the beauty of the new ME-70. The friendly, knob-laden design makes tone creation a snap, but with a powerful COSM AMP section derived from the GT-10, the ME-70 takes the "EZ effects" concept to new heights.

The general configuration is very simple! Turning two or three buttons, one can find the sound you seek without wasting time. To be honest, I have had to consult the manual to learn how to memorize the sounds that I created, but it is so easy that I do not know where I put the manual so even know the beast is easy to use . However, in my memory, the manual was very comprehensive and detailed. The abili ty to set up a seperate preamp or the compressor stompbox for a solo boost took some experimenting for me but once again the space savings of one less pedal is nice.Though you can tap the tempo of any delay setting, the dedicated Tap setting lets you choose between straight eighth notes and dotted eighths (for those U2/Edge effects). The 38 second Phrase Loop function is simple to use: just step on the Delay footswitch to ready recording, step again to record, once more to stop recording. Repeating the process allows you to overdub as many layers as you like. A double tap clears the palette and lets you start over. I'm an avid user of multi-effects and own some other brand units, but also a fan of single stomp-box pedals, (the reason ME-70 caught my attention).... Does anyone regularly run a multi-effects unit from batteries? We'd rather see Roland add a tenner to the price and supply a proper adaptor with it. Sounds the wah is nice, above my expectations in fact, as I never expect anything of this wah on multi ...

After use is quite fun is provided: We all front panel controls what is practical and fast! You turn it changes. it's been almost 15 years since I played and I have had dozens of multiFX whether the line6, vox, zoom, digitech, boss, tc electronic .. etc. ... the latest being the gt10 ... I specially'm not a fan of this small but boss ME70 is almost flawless in my opinion ... More investigation and I bought a Pod XT Live and the best description I can give it is - it is Sex in a Box.

The ME-70’s Delay section is equipped with a dedicated Phrase Looper, which offers a lengthy 38 seconds of recording time. Play a riff, capture and loop it, and solo over it, all in real time onstage. Amaze your audience with multi-layered magic live onstage. Extra Expression I love the possibility to put the batteries, plug in headphones, take my guitar and go play outside in a field in front of a nice view.
