About this deal

If a player rolls a beer and three dynamite with one life left, can he consume the beer first to avoid elimination? Common board game discourse tends to conflate two mechanics together. There’s ‘social deduction’ where you try to guess at the motivations of the people around you. There’s ‘hidden role’ where you each have a secret identity you try to jealously conceal from others. And usually, they really are one and the same thing. Within Bang though, I’m not sure that actually holds true and it’s because of the ambiguity of intention that comes from the central role of the dice. I had a group of 8 players and while some might think that it is a large group, it played out really well and actually quite fast paced. While it is a dice rolling game, I feel that the ability to re-roll as well as adding in the deduction aspect of the game and a some decision making really makes this the type of game that you would want to play at a party. There is a bit of thinking involved but you are not staring at your cards trying to figure out what you need to to do next. The dice really help make the decisions for you. Bang! The Dice Game is a simpler game and far easier to learn. Whereas Bang! can be a bit harder to introduce. There is also a little more depth in strategy in Bang!. The additional choices in Bang! mean turns can be longer and add to down time.

The bullet tokens represent your hp (hit points/health) and each roll gives you chances to damage others or other effects like Native American Indians invading, dealing damage to all players or yourself and regaining health. For those who have played BANG!, then you know how most of it works. Someone plays as the Sheriff, while others play as the Deputy, Outlaws, or Renegade, but you only know who the Sheriff is. The other roles are a secret. Each role has a different goal. The Sheriff and his Deputies must kill all the Outlaws, who need to kill the lawmen. The Renegade needs to be the last man standing by helping to eliminate the Outlaws and then the lawmen. BANG! The Dice Game keeps the core of the Bang! card game in place. At the start of the game, players each take a role card that secretly places them on a team: the Sheriff and deputies, outlaws, and renegades. The Sheriff and deputies need to kill the outlaws, the outlaws win by killing the Sheriff, and the renegades want to be the last players alive in the game. Gameplay is very fast and engaging, players are never left in a situation of AP, and the game flows very smoothly. Even 8 player games can be wrapped up in under 15 minutes.

Shuffle the character cards and then deal one face up to each player. Each player then takes bullets equal to their life total, the Sheriff will gain an additional two bullets. The Sheriff and Deputies win if all opposition are dead otherwise the Outlaws win in any other situation. The Sheriff reveals himself by turning his card face up. All other players look at their role but must keep it secret. When the dice allow you to shoot they give you a range of either one or two. The one lets you shoot a player next to you and the two means you have to shoot a player one space further away. This leads to players being forced into shooting those they don't necessarily want to. During the game this will lead to many heated debates and appeals to the Sheriff, whose role is always visible.Players continue to take turns, and if a player’s life points reach 0, they are pushin’ up daisies. You get to observe the rest of the players having a great time as your ghostly spirit observes the game and hopes that your fellow Outlaws or Deputies win for you. If that player was the Sheriff, the Renegades and Outlaws win! If all the Outlaws and Renegades are eliminated, the Sheriff and any Deputies win. Gameplay: Bang! The Dice Game ties several elements nicely together that’s likely to appeal to a broad audience Gatling – If a player rolls three Gatling symbols in a turn then the Gatling gun is activated and all other players lose one hit point. Each player gets a role and character card, these determine what you're looking to do (role), your hit points and special abilities (characters).

Bang the Dice Game is a Small, fast, fun, filler game for 5 to 8 players. however you can play it with 3 or 4 players too, but she shoot me down with more than 5 players Bang Bang! Unless an ability says otherwise, when you gain a life point (bullet) or arrow, take it from the central pile. If you lose a life point or arrow, return it to the pile. We think 5+ is the best player count for this game. We really don’t like this game at 3 players, there are no hidden roles at this player count. 4 is fun but there is no deputy. At 5+ all roles are in play and there is more tension as it is harder to tell who is who. You have 3 re roll for these 5 Bang dices each turn, and the result shows actions you can take, and possible penalties you have to suffer. The character cards may affect these results or number of re rolls. Bang! The Dice Game can be played in as little as 15 minutes. Bang! is a far longer game and can take 40 minutes to play.

Bang! The Dice Game is a 2013 re-implementation of the Bang! Card Game from 2002. It features the same wild west shootout with a sheriff who can’t quite remember who is a loyal Deputy and who is a treacherous Outlaw. As the name suggests, this version uses dice instead of cards to see who lives and who dies.
