About this deal

I started out testing the Xlim C by plugging it in and making sure it was fully charged. While that was taking place I went ahead and primed the .6 ohm coil, installed it in the single pod included, and filled the pod so the coil could get fully saturated before using it. The .6 coil I believe is designed to be used in an RDL type of vaping scenario so made sure the airflow control was completely open. I know everyone likes different things but felt like the airflow with this coil hit that awkward spot for me where it is too loose for MTL and a little too tight for RDL. I did try closing the airflow some but it made the vapor warmer than I like even though I tried it in all three power levels. Normally I would like a coil close to this resistance but for the maximum amount of airflow available it wasn’t a good fit for me personally. A little more airflow and it would have been perfect. Nic Salt vs. 50/50 E-Liquids - A detailed break down of the differences between freebase and nic salt E-Liquids.

This has definitely more of an RDL vape than before and still closes off enough for an excellent MTL vape too! Mod Performance When pairing your new Xlim C with E-Liquids, no matter which coil you use, we recommend only using high-PG vape juices, such as nicotine salts or 50/50 E-Liquids. You should not use any high-VG E-Liquids in your Xlim C. Included with the kit: The base is where you’ll find the USB port, so you need to lay it down to charge. It has rounded edges which are purely cosmetic, but to aid stability there is a ridge around the flat surfaces so it stands up very well when you put it down. Whilst it is nice to have a pod kit that stands up solidly, I did find it a little uncomfortable but that is down to the way I hold smaller devices. I usually sort of rest it on the crook of my little finger as this is the best position for me when it comes to lining my other fingers up with the fire button, and the ridge rubs slightly. Shop the OXVA XLIM C Replacement Coils, offering a 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm option that will deliver satisfying clouds of vapor from your favorite eJuice. After a couple days of use with the .6 ohm coil, I went ahead and switched out to the .8 ohm coil with the same RY4 cream liquid that I used with the first coil. I use other pods with .8 ohm coils/pods so had a feeling this one was going to be a better fit for me. I closed down the airflow so just two holes were open and it was a good fit for me. I tried it in all three power levels and could honestly use this coil in any of the three and be happy with it. The change in power levels is noticeable but not drastic. Both coils produced good flavor and a fair amount of vapor for a pod device. I just needed a little more air for the .6 ohm coil. You will need to install the coil, fill up, charge and away you go! Don’t panic I will guide you through this in this section! Basic Operation To refill the included 2ml OXVA Xlim C pod, all you need to do is pull out the silicone plug that’s on the side to reveal the filling port and top up with your chosen e-liquid. You can also adjust the airflow to feel tighter or looser by using the switch on the side of the device. To get the most out of your kit, we’d recommend using it with an e-liquid that has a 50/50 or a high PG concentration. The built-in 900mAh battery boasts 5V/2A charging; the device charges from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes and can hold up to 2 days’ charge. The device is charged via the USB Type-C port located on the base of the device (a cable is included with kit). The light on the power button will change from green to blue and finally to red to as the battery depletes. Weighing just 40g fully assembled, the Xlim C is a sleek little wonder of modern vape technology. With just a single button and an adjustable airflow switch on one side, there is little to configure and even less to maintain.

You get a massive throat hit which is obvious due to the lower resistance coil and higher power level (22W on high). After around a while of testing, we found that the Xlim C coils can last between 7 and 22 days with the average being 13 days which is high for a pod device using Nic Salt e-liquid. What type of person is the OXVA Xlim C kit for?For first time filling or when using a new coil leave it to stand for 10 minutes before use to make sure the coil is fully saturated with e-liquid. Vape too early and you could either bugger up the coil or get a dry hit from hell! Still, the Xlim and the Xlim SE had one minor fault: they didn’t offer a changeable coil option for vapers who prefer swapping coils instead of pods (even the Caliburn series has a device that uses changeable coils). There are two coil options in this kit; a 0.6-ohm coil and a 0.8-ohm coil. The 0.6-ohm coil fires between 18- 22 watts depending on your setting, while the 0.8-ohm coil fires between 13-17 watts. There is also an additional option available (not included) which is a 1.2-ohm coil that fires between 8-12 watts. The front of the device has the OXVA logo and the rear is totally plain. A nice paint gradient effect gives this a glow and it has a metallic finish. The final detail of note on the main body is the airflow control on the side. This is a simple sliding affair with three holes which you reveal depending on your preference. With one hole open, you can get a tight MTL vape, fully open you can have a lightly restricted DTL, and then you can fine tune things to your requirements. Whilst I’m normally a MTL vaper, I found I preferred fully open, it has just the right balance of restriction and flavour.

I have found the airflow to be slightly more open on this version. On the older versions I had it fully open. Whereas now I am actually adjusting it. I found about 2/3 open was equivalent to the fully open on the other versions.Turn the pod on its side and lift up the fill port cover. You can swing the cover out of the way for filling.

The OXVA Xlim C vape kit is a smart choice for those looking for a compact, user-friendly device. Its powerful 900mAh battery is integrated, so aside from e-liquid, you don’t have to worry about buying anything extra for your kit. It has an 8 - 22W output range and comes with two different Xlim C coils, meaning it’s ideal for both MTL (Mouth To Lung) and RDTL (Restricted Mouth To Lung) vaping. This delivery option is not available for customers in Guernsey, Jersey, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or Aberdeenshire. International
