Also, the handles on this Bosch AdvancedRotak 36-750 mower are not your simple metal bar, they are Ergonomically designed for comfort and to allow the handles to be held in several different positions, whilst still being able to operate the mower. I found this particularly useful when mowing around flower beds single-handedly as you can see from the video above. On top of making light work of a medium to large-sized garden, you will also notice that the mower boasts the AdvancedRotak grass combs. This allows you to reach the edges of the lawn much more easily without having to dig out the lawn edger or grass trimmer. If you are pushed for time or want to be able to get everything done with one tool this could be the answer. But one of the most notable features about this rotary blade is that it boasts a leaf collection system which allows you to collect, shred and dispose of leaves in the grass box, meaning that you will not need to clear the lawn before getting started. Bosch have opted for a large 50 litre grass box on both the AdvancedRotak 750 and the AdvancedRotak 650 it makes sense as both mowers are designed for larger lawns. The mower does a fantastic job of compacting the cuttings into this very large grass box meaning less trips to the compost for emptying. The 650 mower does naturally become heavier as the grass box fills but I never had any issues manoeuvring the mower around the lawn. Having said that I don’t really have any steep inclines in my garden, but I guess you could always empty the grass box before it is completely full or starting to become heavy. But the positive side is that with a large box, you can make fewer trips to empty your grass after collecting large amounts of trims. But all will be well and good if you have a small or no grass box. Without the box, your lawnmower will be more light and easy to move around when tidying your mower. If you have left your lawn to grow for a while, don’t rush in and cut it on a very low setting. Rather start on a higher setting and progressively cut it lower. This will avoid leaving an untidy patchy appearance or even scalping parts of your lawn.
