About this deal

The annual flooding of the Nile River Valley provided the earliest tribes with fertile soil to ensure survival. It eloquently enlightens its reader by piecing together history, ripping the veil from our eyes so that we can see many truths that were hidden from the world centuries ago.

Europeans have claimed the non-African creation of Egypt to downgrade the position of African people in world history. Humankind harnessing the bounty of this fertile area encouraged the earliest areas of sustained settlement and civilization. The Nile River continues to be the lifeline of North Africa, moving people and goods, while providing sustainability. In 1902, the Aswan Dam was built to stop the flooding of the river; the dam was enhanced and improved throughout the 1960s and 1970s. If you have ever questioned what you have learned in school (especially history class), this is the book for you!

Despite our uses for rivers today, rivers of the ancient world were vital to humankind's earliest civilizations. With respect to the deviations Exploding the Myths takes in its thesis, this behavior often relegates us to parroting out responses that coincide with what white supremacy has established as acceptable. There is no doubt that many minds will be changed, and hopefully, those who truly adhere to his ideas will seek to broaden their Afrikan history beyond one that revolves around merely one location in our great continent. Nubia: Nubia is a region surrounding the Nile River that lies between Southern Egypt and Northern Sudan. Absolutely an essential must-have look for any historian, or those with interest in astrological theology.

While not a perfect book, this work otherwise succeeds in demonstrating that collectively, people of Afrikan descent have contributed greatly to the world. Often flowing over its banks several feet, the Nile deposited layers of silt and dirt rich in nutrients and natural fertilizers on the surrounding land.

Ivan van Sertima's arguments on an Afrikan presence in the Americas, which Browder relies on primarily for his arguments regarding Afrikan influence on Native American populations, especially the Olmecs, also have been debunked. It also puts an emphasis on how those early contributions was translated into today's American society.

The Nile River allowed the earliest civilizations to flourish in spite of the surrounding harsh desert climate. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. However, as the name suggests, Browder is more concerned with reclaiming and defending the most famous of Afrikan civilizations: the people of Kemet. Without myths, life has little meaning, but when fabricated for the benefit of a "Chosen Few," myths become a detriment to humanity by impeding mental growth and understanding. The flooding of the Nile River would begin in June and continue through September, the water would recede by October, leaving fertile lands for crops. The ASA Restoration Project was established by Anthony Browder (with the generous support of the Hilliard family) as a fitting tribute to a man who was loved worldwide and taken from us too soon. The Nile River's seasonal flooding from the months of June through September deposited nutrient-rich soils along its banks, transforming an otherwise desert into excellent farmland and promoting sustained settlement. The Nile today stretches 6,650 kilometers (4,132 miles) and is believed to be the longest river in the world.
