This gin is modeled on the flavors of the Amalfi coast, where citrus, mostly used in limoncello is the norm. The rich herbal tonic flavors accentuated the herbal notes of the Gin and changed the citrus forward Gin and Tonic cocktail into a well balanced cocktail. MALFY Gins are made by Master Distillers, Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni at the Torino Distillati distillery. But when I tried it with Fever Tree’s Mediterranean tonic water in a 1 part Malfi- 3 part tonic water ratio it was quite good. The colour is crystal clear, the aroma is zesty citrus with a background of juniper, and the flavour is lemon zing, long, complex finish- deliciously refreshing. Add vermouth, tonic or a sparkling mixer to bring the core gin botanicals back to the flavour profile of a long drink, or, sip neat for nostalgic notes of sunny days abroad. Absolutely stunning fresh lemon flavour which is very refreshing especially with Fever Tree Indian Tonic .

The eye-catching blue design symbolises the Mediterranean while the vibrant yellow represents the zesty Italian lemons. In comparison to traditional gins, Malfy's classic juniper notes take a backseat to the lemon citrus.Malfy Con Limone is distilled with Sfusato lemon peels from the Amalfi coast, classic Italian juniper and five other botanicals. The quality of ingredients really shines through and I would recommend this gin for a pleasant change from the norm!
