This book and this story were so incredibly different than anything else I've ever read and I can't even properly describe why I loved it so much, I just know that I was entertained the entire time. jessa knows how to pull every single emotion out of you and if you know me, there’s nothing i love more than an author who knows how to make me feel so alive with their words.

The push and pull and their heated agreements, their silent conversations, their need to make sure the other one was okay, their need to make everything fucked up in their life perfect — everything was a broken beautiful heartbreaking mess.

It's relatable because even with their luxurious lifestyles you can clearly see that they struggle with very normal things such as self-esteem, addiction, broken families, and broken relationships. maybe i’m heartless cus everyone was saying how they cried but i was gasping and giggling the whole book.
She frustrated me at times but it doesn’t last long because she’s really just hurting and you can feel how much it’s all affecting her. I could go on about how they should not be together and how they should just move on from each other but it's just my perspective of their story and if it were them in their places?he had these bedroom eyes that look at you like he's undressing you on the spot and i know that sounds so inappropriate, but that's just because he's never done it to you, because if he had, you'd know and you'd live your life waiting for him to look at you like that again. the way that i had absolutely no idea wtf i was getting into when i started this but loved every single moment of this book. romanticising relationships where the girl takes back the man who’s fucking up their lives must be fucking shameful. even thought they’re toxic as a duo, i am convinced that bj is the only real deficient variable in their equation.
