About this deal

Just like how Arlo turning into a vampire was an easy out for him not being immortal, or semi-immortal. That being said, although I was worried throughout that the ending would ruin the book for me, I was very happy with the how it all ended.

But it also leads to a fundamental problem in the romance arc: Are these two people forming a unique connection…or would they feel this way about literally anybody? This was fucked up and twisted in a way it shouldn't have been and left me disgusted with the characters. It ends with Faenir threatening to kill people again and because of this, the two groups coming to an agreement to save both worlds. This jarred me so badly that I had to go back and make sure that I didn't miss a portion of the book. The author did an amazing job in keeping interest throughout and creating an emotional understanding and bond for the characters in it. He is everything a strong, fierce, sassy bottom should be, with his own motivations and secrets aplenty.

Still ima continue this series because its brainless entertainment and im interested in seeing what happens. I’m curious as to how this world will look come the third book, depending on when it takes place we may have some questions answered that I’ve been wondering about. Another scene which I didn't understand because it was just random: the death of a little girl, the daughter of a servant (both NEVER got mentioned in the beforehand, they just appeared randomly). Ben Anderson has a wonderful way of crafting a world that is full of exceptional characters and fascinating plots.

Let me start off by praising the authors magnificent wordage when it came to making Arlo the *Persephone in the plot.

Like, when I read the very last sentence of King and completely finished the book, I did brust out laughing. It’s a fascinating impetus for a relationship: one man thinks his all-powerful magic makes him a monster until he finds that he’s still human after all, and the other thinks that he’s frail and burdensome until he discovers that he can bring seemingly infinite power to its knees with a touch. I may have read this book in a day, but that was more out of if I don't finish it now, I never will. Just showing my support and thanking Ben for writing such an amazing book, while helping me to improve my Vocabulary! I had hopes it would turn out differently somehow but it was a theory from the very beginning, considering he literally had been drinking vampire blood for years.Request Rejected This page is unavailable due to either geographic restrictions or other restrictions in place at this time. Vi en una reseña de una estrella que decía algo como "ugh, that's too gay", y debo decir que ese es el punto.
